His confession created confusion in my head. It was so sudden. I wasn't hoping for an answer at first. I was waiting for another rejection, another ''shut up''
I have never seen him like this. Vulnerable. I've always thought of him as a tough guy. That's one of the things I liked about him. He seemed Unbreakable. I thought maybe if I was with him, I would also be unbreakable.

I was silent for a moment.

"So... she found out, and then she got mad or something?"

"Yes."

"So she broke up with you?"

"I was the one who ended our relationship. Lisa was willing to try, but the feelings I have for this girl is strong."

My heart ached.

"Well, you made the right decision. Being with someone with whom you don't feel anything is horrible."

"Have you ever done that? Being with the someone you don't love?"

His question hit me hard.

"... Well... no... I mean maybe?"

"Why are you so unsure? Are you with someone right now but you love someone else?"

"No...really not...I'm with nobody."

"But you do like someone right?"

I was going to say no, but I couldn't. There was something blocking me for denying.

"Yes. I do like someone."
