Four weeks had passed and it consisted of Ed and I 'hanging out'. And for once it was just hanging out. No dead or unconscious bodies! So far it was going well. We mostly hung out at our places. Also, we found out that we both like taking walks. Now every other day, after work, we'll meet up and walk around the city.
Meanwhile, I'm struggling with this crush I have on Ed. It's becoming problematic. I have moments where I'll stare at him and get lost in my mind. I'll end up thinking about how pretty his eyes are. Or how he looked really good in suits. I'd get dragged out of my thoughts by the man himself. He'd normally ask me if I'm okay and I'd realize that I was daydreaming.
The GCPD is really suspicious of Jim. They think that he had a play into Galavan's death. But since there was an umbrella shoved down his throat, I don't think that Jim had too much play into his death. Although I have been wrong before. If Jim did do something, he was probably the one who shot him in the head. But with the umbrella, Oswald was clearly there and he was the one to do most of the damage.
Speaking of Oswald, the GCPD was after him. He had a pretty big bounty over his head. Ed is worried about him and I honestly didn't know what to feel. I was friends with the most wanted criminal in Gotham. It clearly didn't bother Ed, but that could be because he was a criminal himself. I guess I could technically be considered a criminal too. But I don't exactly want to admit that to myself.

I was going to meet up with Ed for lunch, but our plans had changed. Someone had officially caught Oswald, and Ed wanted to talk to the man to see how he was. So, I sat by the door and watched Ed communicate with Oswald.
Oswald looked pretty bad. He almost looked like he had given up, like he just wanted a break from it all.
Ed had finished talking with Oswald and walked over to where I was sitting. Oswald watched as Ed walked over to me. As soon as we made eye contact, I gave him a sad smile and waved. He smiled back.
"He wants us to watch over his mother's grave." Ed blurted out, drawing my attention back to him.
"Alright. We can go together after you get off work. We can pick up flowers too."
Ed nodded. We sat there for a bit trying to decide where to go for lunch. We just decided to go to a random restaurant nearby. Once that was decided, Ed, got up to clock out.

We headed out of the building with our arms locked together. There were several restaurants in the area, but before I could suggest one, I was being dragged to the left. The restaurant I was dragged toward, just so happened to be thai. I gave Ed an unsure look, and he just shrugged, giving a wide smile.
"Why not try something new?" Ed stated before walking toward the waitress. I realized I was being hesitant for no reason. Shrugging, I followed after Ed. The waitress guided both of us to a booth not too far from the front door. We sat opposite from each other.
Deciding what we wanted to drink, We watched as the waitress wrote our drink orders on her notepad. After that, the waitress left the two of us alone.
I looked at the menu with an open mind. Honestly, I didn't know what the heck I was ordering, so I didn't think it really mattered. There were little images of fire on the menu. I assumed that was the spice level and I opted to order some of the least spicy dishes.
When the waitress came back with our drinks, She asked if we were ready to order. I knew I was ready, so I let Ed answer her. Ed had confirmed that we were ready and started to order his food. I ordered quickly and gave the waitress my menu. She left in a hurry to get our orders to the kitchen
