Last Moon

"Come on," he said to me.

Looking into his playful green eyes I followed him into the dark night as it was the last day we would see each other. It was only 12 am, so we had to make this moment count.

It was dark but the street lights and the stars filled up the night sky with a small joy. Running into the town we used to come to every day for the past 5 years.

It was the first kiss we had together. The time he laughed at me when my ice cream fell on the ground and gave me his. The time he sat in front of me in the diner, Pink Mink, and exchanged the first word we would ever say to each other. This town was full of special memories that one can't forget.

"Levi" I teased him as we reached the front of the old cinema, but he only grinned widely at me.

Still grabbing my hand he pulled me to the side of the building and gestured me to start climbing.

Oh how much I loved this boy.

Standing on his hands and placing mine on the sidelines, he heaved me up, until I fell.

Letting out a yelp I fell but not hard as Levi was there to catch me. Sigh.

"I guess you've fallen for me." He said with a smile as I looked into his green orbs.

I laughed and gave him a small grin as I got up. 

Giving him a hug and I squeezed his butt.

His pupils dilated and grabbed me from behind and whispers, "Let's go up and away from all this"

"Okay," I said lovingly.

He pushed me up with caution this time with his hands trailing down from my thighs to feet, then air as I pushed myself the rest of the way.

Looking at the moon glistening in the dark I didn't notice him as he came up from behind me.

I sat down on the cement roof while Levi snuggled up next to me and wrapped a blanket that I didn't know he had around our shoulders. 

I laid my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around me and we both sat there looking at the moon shine brightly alongside the stars. 

It was our last day together before he left and I plan to keep it this perfect. 

Except for one thing.

Grabbing his head with my two hands, I looked at him and gave him a kiss and said,
"I guess I did fall for you, Levi"

He smiled brightly, and my heart filled with joy.

"I love you, Cassie," He said giving me a long kiss on the lips.

"I love you too, Levi," I told him as we broke the kiss and sat embraced in each other's arms as the clock stroke 2 am.
