Trisha's POV
toot...toot...toot...toot...
"Ughh" I groaned as I heard my alarm. I tried my best to just turn off the alarm while my head is still covered under my pillow.
But I unfortunately failed. I forced myself to get up and turn it off myself. I yawned and stretched. I hadn't slept well last night because I was busy practicing for The Voice Of The Philippines Kids auditions.
My audition was today and my mom wanted me to get up at 6am so we wouldn't end up waiting in a long line.
I went to the bathroom and took a bath. Then I wore my white blouse and short skirt. Then I wore my cowgirl boots and fixed my hair. I just placed a small amount of powder because I hate make up. But I was going to be on tv so I didn't have a choice.
After preparing myself, I went down for breakfast.
After breakfast I brushed my teeth.
Then I together with my parents and big sisters (2) went to the car and drove to the the venue of the auditions.
I was really confident in the car but when I got there I became so nervous I almost threw up.
There was a 12 year old boy before me. His name is Darren Espanto. I saw his performance.
I had to admit I was impressed by his voice but I had to remind myself that I was here for me to win and not to be impressed by anyone.
Soon, I got in. I met Alex Gonzaga.
She was really funny. She kept making jokes to take my nervousness away.
Then the STAGE sign lit and Alex informed me that it was my turn to sing. I took a deep breath and went to the stage.
The intro of Let it go began.
Then I started singing.
"The snow glows wide on the mountain
tonight not a footprint to be seen a
kingdom of isolation and it looks like
I'm the queen.
The wind is howling like this swirling storm
inside. Couldn't keep it in heaven knows
I tried.
Don't let them in don't let them see be the
good girl you always have to be. Conceal
don't feel don't let them know... Well now
they know....
Let it go let it go. Can't hold it back anymore.
Let it go let it go turn away and slam the door.
I don't care what they're going to say(All of a sudden, Sarah and Leah pushed the button)
Let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway.
My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around.
With one thought crystalizes like an icy blast.
I'm never goin back the past is in the past...
Let it go let it go and I'll rise at the break of dawn.(All of a sudden, Bamboo pressed the button)
Let it go let it go the perfect girl is gone.
Here I stand in the light of day...
Let the storm rage on...The cold never bothered me anyway"
Then I recieved a standing ovation. I really felt like the happiest person on earth!
"What's your name?" Bamboo asked.
"Trisha Carter" I replied.
"Hi Trisha! How old are you?" Said Sarah.
"I am 12 years old"
"Okay. Where are you from Trisha?" Asked Leah.
"I am from Paranaque" I responded.
"Ohh. Trisha I promise you if you go with me in my team we will really train your voice more because I saw something in your voice that could be improved." Said Sarah.
"Trisha if you go on my team I can help you even more than Sarah." Said Bamboo.
"Trisha remember the one who won in The Voice of The Philippines season 1 came from my team. So who knows maybe you can win as well." Said Leah.
"But she already won one time Trisha. Who knows maybe the one who will win in this season will come from team Bamboo." Said Bamboo.
"So Trisha who is it gonna be?" Asked Leah.
It was really tough because they were all great coaches so I just chose the one that my instinct is telling me.
"I choose coach Sarah." I exclaimed.
Coach Sarah looked as if she won in the lottery.
I came up to her and she hugged me then placed the team sarah bracelet on me.
When I came out, my family was cheering for me and they all hugged me.
