New Chances

Once we left the mall we all decided to go to my fav burger shack which is Al's Burgers. As we all sat down and figured out what we each was going to order the waitress came staring right at Dwuan and I don't why but my blood started to raise like hell.
"Hello my name is Victoria and I'm going to be your waitress for tonight" she says to each of us but it was really directed to Dwuan. "Hello my name is Lovely and if you keep looking at my man like that I will be serving you a ass whooping tonight" I said while smiling at her. She looked bought scared as hell after I said that and went to taking our orders.
"Oh so I'm your man now" Dwuan whispers in my ear. I just sided eyed him and went to looking back at my phone till the food got here. I'm sorry but I don't like being jealous and that's why I don't date. I rather beat a bitch up than to be jealous of a bitch. Call me crazy or whatever but I can't help it ! I've been fighting all my life and I'm not going to stop now.
"So you mad at me, when I wasn't even paying attention to that girl" Dwuan says to me a little to Loud. "Nope I'm actually not mad at you at all but I do want to go drag her ass and when I'm mad I rather just be quit!" I said not wanted to further the convo. I guess he got the point and let the situation rest.
"I got something that going to take all that attitude away just wait on it" He says to me smiling hard as hell. I swear my panties got wet instantly. Lord what is this man doing to me I thought to myself.
Are food finally arrived and all you could hear was chewing and smacking. "I wish y'all would chew with your damn mouths closed" Jose says to us like he somebody daddy. "Nigga please if you don't like how we chewing then you can always go sit somewhere else" I said and Nyshia just laughed along with Dwuan.
After we was done we decided to smoke a blunt before we all went home and went to sleep. We was at are new hang out spot which was the park smoking when Dwuan took me on a walk.
"So ummm im really feeling you little momma and I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me on Saturday" he says looking all nervous which was so damn cute. "Of course I would" I said smiling like a kid in the candy store. All of a sudden he takes me and kisses me. At first I was caught off guard but once I realized what was going on I started to kiss him back. Our tongues fought for dominance.
      We walked back to Jose and Nyshia grinning like hell. I was so happy he finally asked me on a date. I mean we went on a double date before but it's going to be a lot different when it's just us ! I'm kinda scared because for one I've never been on a real date before and for two I've never went on a date with a man before. It's kinda the same reason but all just don't understand, when I say I've never dated or talked to a man I've never.
      "Sooo what are you two love birds grinning about" Nyshia says all up in my face. I just laughed and said nothing while Jose and Dwuan keep playin around and talking. "Girl bye spill the beans now before you have to see me with the hands" she says so serious. "Wellll if it's that serious, Dwuan asked me on are first date and I'm soo happy but nervous because this is my first date" I say giving her a nervous smile. "I'm sure it's nothing for you to worry about bestfriend. This is something new but good and I'm sure Dwuan will make sure you have a great time and see that your safe." Nyshia saying that really helped me a lot.
      I've never really trusted men considering the only man I've ever really trusted was my grandfather. But what got me nervous again is the fact I will have to find a really cute outfit and everything and I don't even know how I should dress or if I should wear make up or anything. Oh well either way imma look good.
      "Ok boys time to take us ladies home" I said before running off to car with Nyshia right behind me. Getting into bed I just keep think about how slow these next week will go by getting ready for this date Saturday! Hopefully it's a really nice date and I get to see a different side of Dwuan !
