Mike Tuai the respected, and honored chief in all the villages of Samoa. He can't wait to pass his chief position to he's first child.
But beyond the village of Tuai, one of the elders who been here for the longest in the village. The old lady, who knows the legends and stories of the village back in them olden days.
The old lady came outside and see everyone rushing for the counselors to arrive, but she just sit at her porch and just fan herself. The old lady knows something that will change, and even question the lifeline of the Tuai's chiefs.
You see a long time ago there were a girl who was actually the first chief of the Tuai village. Her name was Leilani Rose Taia and the village real name was Salamasina (the village of savior). No one would know because it's an forgotten history/legend story of the islands of Samoa. In this century the village of Tuai only knows that the long life of the village of chiefs been only men.
Until today, the old lady believe that the chiefs unborn child will change everything.
*Story time*
Long ago lelani created an prophecy, after the man she fell in love became her Ne'igalomeatiga (unforgettable pain) He's name was Ioane Tuai, who's village was known for trouble. Ioane father told his son to make chief Leilani to fall for him,and marry her. You see he's village wasn't Tuai village, but an village that got no respect, or honored because of the choas it always created within themselves, and the Chief Ioane father was jealous of Salamasina village and Mataio getting more respect than him, especially being honored for making his eldest daughter the chief, an TIENE a chief..Ioane wasn't happy about that. He hated at the thought that he now has to RESPECT an girl as a chief
*Story finish...for now*
You see this legend/story was the old lady favorite because it's a true legend and it was told by her mother when she was a child, but it's long forgotten and prophecy also. The counselors/elders told her to not tell this story to the village it's forbidden because of that the chief himself doesn't know this legend. Only her and the counselors, so the old lady just stayed at her fale and just watch everyone else.
