"Ok ok tell me again where we are going?" I ask while driving..
Jackson has been telling me where to go this whole time, So I still have no clue of where we are heading.
"I can't it's a surprise." He says with a chuckle.
"Well are we almost there?"
"No..no quite."
"Uhhh...Jackson I'm tired.."
"Ohh..please..your hungry I can tell."
I laugh after he talks it's funny because he's so right..I'm staving..
"So you and Caden?" He says clearing his voice
"Oh yeah No were not dating.."
"But he likes you?"
"I..I don't know."
"Do you like him?" He say in a slight tone of disappointment
"Umm...I don't know." I shrug
Me and Caden are best friends and that's all we are....I think.
"Ok ok pull into right here." He says pointing to a restaurant I've never been to.
"Ok" so I pull in
We get off and Jackson runs to the door so he could open it for me and he succeeds
"Why thank you."
"No problem"
We walk in and I see older people wearing dresses and older men wearing tux's. And me and Jackson are just wearing casual..
"Jackson this looks expensive." I say in shock
"I know..its ok..I'll be paying" He says while smiling at me
"Jackson..."
he cuts me off
"A reservation for Jackson."
He says to the women
"Right this way please"
She says walking towards a bunch a tables. She leads us to a booth Jackson and I both sit on our own.
"Jackson when did you..reverse this?"
"When we were at the bowling place..it was very easy since you take so long to let go of the ball."
He says with a slight chuckle
"Haha very funny.."
"May I take your order?"
The women say..and May I add she's a beautiful girl probably around are age..and I knew Jackson was gonna hit on her some way...hopefully he doesn't because me being me...I'll probably get jealous especially since Jackson is so...
"Carter?"
Jackson says bring me back into reality
"Oh I'm so sorry..um I'll have to chicken fingers." I say
"Is that all" the women ask
"Yes"
"Chicken fingers really?" He ask with a giggle
"What?"
"That's for like little kids.."
"Well actually it's not it's for all ages and that's ok because I am a kid at heart..what did you order anyways?"
"I ordered a steak" he says with a smile
"Wow."
"Wow what?"
"Are you sure you should be eating that?" I say while giving hime a concerned face"
"Wow..I'm not even that fat..chill"
We both laugh
"So tell me a little about yourself,"
"Ok...well I was born her and I've lived her ever since obviously I was the only child and I was very shy when I was young and actually sill pretty shy...um..I love the out doors there my favorite...I enjoy watching movies with my family and family is priority to me I love my..mom..my dad as you know passed when I was 16...in an accident"
"I'm sorry again.."
"Yeah me to"
Soon after our foods arrives
"Here you are lady and gentlemen..I hope y'all enjoy you food and if there anything you need....anything..just ask me" She says looking at Jackson.
"Ok thanks" is all he says
Then she walk away..wow I'm surprised Jackson didn't hit on her back...
"Ok now well I told you about me now tell me about you"
"Ok..well I've moved her form Minnesota, I've actually always lived in Minnesota since Well now... I have an older sister that's is currently attending College in England."
"Oh that's so cool..I've always wanted to visit England but I'm always to busy."
"Your to busy or your moms to busy?"
"My mom"
We continue to make little talk here and there
"So how did you meet your friend..Caden it was?"
"Um...well actually we kinda met how you and I met..threw dinner at my house..he moved away from our neighbor hood from some odd reason..he tells me he's doesn't know why..but I think he's lying."
"Why do you think that?" He ask
"Well because...I don't know..whenever I ask him he immediately shuts me off like he's hiding something..."
"Well maybe he is hiding something."
"I don't know..but I should be getting home soon."
"You right...check please." He calls out to our waiter
She later gives us our check and Jackson pays. I took the check just to see how much money and holy crap..I am never coming back here..30 dollars for only 6 chicken strips..what the hell I could get 12 frozen chicken strips from a grocery story get home cook them and only spend like 12 dollars like what the hell man... anyways while I'm looking at the check I turn it around just because and I see that's our waiter had up her number on it..wow she had said "210-345-2375 call me handsome boy" wow
"Hey look you got a girls number without even trying" I say with a slight chuckle
"Ha would you look at that...well that's to bad I will never use that number so it's useless..."
"Hey..but you have to admit she was a beautiful young lady" I say
"I didn't really pay attention...I couldn't stop looking at the beautiful girl in front of me" He says with a slight smirk
I look down a smile to myself..did Jackson just try and hit on me..wow..that's the first.
We both get up and head out.. (time jump) we later arrived at our house
"Ok well it was fun hanging out with you Jackson...hopefully we can do it again sometime." I say
"Yeah...it was fun..I really enjoyed it."
"Me to..and please don't forget your bus comes at 7:30 in the morning..so try not to miss it next time."
"Why not...we can be " go to school together buddies" he says with a smile
" tomorrow your taking the bus Jackson..but I'll think about it.." I give him a smile back.
