It was 6:00 am, everyone except Al was asleep as usual. He sat on the floor beside his bed thinking. Thinking was all he could do at night, he would sit there hours on end wondering what it would be like to get his body back and what the first thing he would do when he got it.

He was more restless than usual as Ed had told him about Toki's past. He stood up, his metal clanging quietly as he did so. He wandered into the living room,  looking around as if he was trying to find something.

"You lost?" asked a voice from the sofa.

Al stopped suddenly, he sowly turned his head towards the unkown voice to find Toki lying on the sofa with her right arm over her forehead. She smiled at him friendly.

"I guess so. Ed told me about your past, it's been swarming through my head all night." he explained as he went to sit next to her. Toki lifted her legs up and shuffled to the other end of the sofa to give room for Al.

"I should be the one worrying about myself. I don't want you to have that burden." she explained to him.

"I know, but brother and I have been worrying about our future for years, we need to worry about others for a little while." he chuckled. Toki smiled back at him and comforted herself.

"You're a great brother to him you know." she explained. "You're more responsible and mature than he is. You're almost like his farther." she said smiling and joking.

There was a short silence between the two of them as they waited for the other to say something.

"Toki, I know Ed already asked you this, but why is it that you and the twins fell out?" Al asked, tilting his head to the side and feeling a little awkward.

"Well, I haven't fallen out with Maiha, I fell out with Harumi. And Ed was right, it was for a girly reason. I didn't tell Ed because it involves him." she answered, feeling embarrassed about the situation. "When I said I was a 'nerd' for you two, I was obsessed with Ed, his hair, his auto-mail, everything." she explained, watching Al's reaction. "Harumi was the same, she loved everything about him, we were friends at the time but when I found out that she had met you two before I did, and she got friendly towards Ed, I got extremely jealous. I wouldn't reply to her letters or anything." she paused for a second and chuckled to herself, "I was a bit of a bitch back then, but it was before my parents died."

Al was nodding every now and again to show that he was listening. "You should start talking to her again, show that you're sorry. I'm sure she'll forgive you." he explained eagerly. Toki smiled and nodded.

"I think I will, I've excluded her too much. Thank you, Al." she thanked, smiling at him.

"Finally finished!" exclaimed Winry, holding up her masterpiece that she had been working on for 2 days. Her face was thrilled, and she rushed out to the garden to give Toki her auto-mail.

Toki was sat with her back against the wall outside, watching the brothers fight again.

"Toki! Your auto-mail is finish!" she shouted, trying to be heard over the sound of Ed and Al. Toki used the wall to guide herself up, using her right arm to push up.

Toki was sat in a chair while Winry clicked the auto-mail into place. "You ready?" she asked. Toki nodded and shut her eyes, bracing herself. Winry turned the handle and an electric pulse charged through the auto-mail to Toki's shoulder. Toki's hair stood on end, she clenched her teeth in attempt to distract herself from the pain. She let out a small grunt of pain as she extended her auto-mail fingers.

"Thank you, Winry." she thanked. She lent forward in the seat and examined her auto-mail. It was made extremely well, a lot better than before.

"You should probably get some rest befor you leave." explained Pinako, pipe in one hand and the other behind her back. Toki nodded and helped herself up, she went to join the brothers and the twins outside again.

"Ed, I don't mean to be rude, but I think we should leave for Central soon." Toki explained. Ed had just finished being beaten by Al in a fight again and was on the floor, rubbing his head.

"Yeah, ok. I'll go tell winry." Ed explained, standing up and walking inside.

"You're going to Central?" asked Winry, "Could I come too? I want to pay a visit to Glacier and Elisia."

"Can we come too?" two voices said next to him, Maiha and Harumi were stood next to each other and speaking simultaneously, "We need another assignment from Mustang." explained Maiha.

Ed looked at the three of them a little suprised and mouth slightly open, "Yeah, of course you can!" he said with a huge smile on his face.

They were all packed and ready to go, they stood lined up to enter the train. They sat down in their seats, Toki was no longer in her wolfhide clothing, she was in her casual black long sleeve top, dark brown trousers and black gloves to hide her auto-mail.

The twins were sat opposite Toki, chatting to each other. Toki wasn't quite sure what they were talking about but she was watching them. Maiha stood up out of her chair to leave for the bathroom. Toki watched her leave and then looked at Harumi.

There was an awkward silence, until Toki said, "Look, Harumi. I know I was a real bitch when I was younger, but I'm sorry. Can you forgive me and we can put this in the past?" she asked, feeling sorry for herself.

Harumi smiled slowly, "I forgive you."
