You woke up to a repetitive tapping on your window. You slowly propped yourself up on your elbow to see Kenny staring at you with his hands up on the other side of the glass. He looked awful, his nose was bleeding and the blood was dripping down his pale face. His eyes were bloodshot and his face was badly bruised and cut. His otherwise shining blonde hair was messy and his iconic orange parka was soaked in blood and scattered with wound marks. How he got up to your window on the second story of your house, you had no idea. He gave you a forced smile that looked painful. You leaped out of your bed and ran to the window. You opened a few locks and opened it, pulling Kenny inside. His hair had collected a lot of snow and some of it fell off onto your floor to become a puddle.
"K-Kenny! What on Earth happened to you?!" You said, trying not to wake your parents.
"Car accident. Happens too damn much." He said as he pulled and twisted his arm, making a cracking noise. You flinched at the sight. He shook his arm out and smiled at you.
"Uh, c'mon I'll help get you cleaned up."
"Okie dokie!" He said. You lead him quietly into your bathroom. He sat up on your counter next to your sink. You grabbed all of the medical supplies you needed. You knew what you were doing. All of your friends back in your hometown would always arrive at your doorstep all cut up and you always fixed them.
"Wait, you said, car accident?" You asked as you cleaned his wounds.
"Yup!"
"H-how are you alive?"
"I ask myself that frequently."
"What?"
"What?" He said.
"Hmm, well you are all good now." You said as you put the last bandage on his cheek. He felt the bandage on your cheek and sighed.
"What's wrong?" You asked.
"Don't worry about it princess." He said as he put his hand on your cheek. You blushed and fiddled with your fingers.
"U-um, you can stay here if you want."
"Are you sure?"
"Yea, it's cold out and you are already beat up, so you can just relax here for a bit, but you should leave before my parents see you."
"Alrighty doll." He said as he laid down on your floor. He put his hands behind his head and set his feet up on a box.
"Do you need anything?"
"Can I have a blanket?" He asked.
"Here," You said, pulling a blanket off of your bed, "You can have this one."
He grabbed the blanket out of your hands.
"Wow, thank you..." He said holding the blanket closely.
"You seem really happy to have that blanket." You said.
"Y-yeah... lets not go into the reasons why..." Kenny said, with a sad look on his face.
"Okay then, well, goodnight Kenny."
"Goodnight Y/N."
