TAMED XII - STORY BEGINS.

"I'M SINGLE and available."

H-huh? Who's single and available? Si Professor Sandoval ba?

"Zamy, babe."

"Ano na nga ulit 'yon?" I was too focused in front, I almost forgot I was with Brent.

Lumawak ang ngiti niya.

"Hindi talaga magiging tayo kapag 'di mo nalaman ang totoo kaya kailangan kong sugalan ito."

"Itigil mo nga 'yan," nalilito kong tugon.

"What, no? Wala ng makakatigil sa ating dalawa." He chuckled. "Deserve mong malaman 'to."

"Ang alin ba?" Wala na, kuhang kuha na kasi ako ng mga kaganapan sa stage. Nahahati tuloy ang atensyon ko.

"If you're asking me if I have a girlfriend, my answer is none. Wala akong girlfriend," nakangiti niyang pahayag nang diretso that put me in a complete shock.

Ano? Paano? Now he managed to get back my full attention. "A-akala ko kasi..."

"Akala mo meron? Aw, you really thought Professor Sandoval is my girlfriend?" Natawa pa siya.

Tumango ako bilang pagsang-ayon. I should be happy right? Darn it, ang bilis na ng tibok ng puso ko.

"You're thinking wrong Zamy, she's not my girlfriend. She's my blood, my cousin. At simula ngayon, 'yang pagseselos mo itigil mo na."

"Pinagloloko mo ba ako?" hindi makapaniwalang untag ko. "Nakita ko kayong magkahalikan sa office niya!"

He was blushing. Hindi ko alam kung dahil sa sitwasyon namin ngayon o hindi.

"What? When was that? Maybe you misunderstood. Baka noong araw na napulingan siya sa mata ang tinutukoy mo."

Nakatingin siya sa akin, sa amin habang dinadama ang kanta.

The professor hasn't done anything wrong all along. I realized that she was too precious and innocent to have done the things I accused her of. Looking back, I couldn't believe how foolish and evil I acted towards her in the elevator incident. Now, I feel like the dumbest and most terrible villain ever.

"Zamy, ano pang gusto mong malaman?" pukaw ni Brent.

"Kung pinsan mo si Professor Sandoval, bakit walang nakakaalam? Sikat ka sa school na ito, bakit wala man lang akong narinig tungkol dito?"

"Our mommies are sisters, and it's her choice bakit hindi siya kilala ng tao. My middle name is Sandoval."

Brent Sandoval Laczamana.

"If your moms are siblings, why is she using Sandoval as her last name?"

"She went through some tough times that forced her to be independent and start using her middle name as surname, but it's not something she likes to talk about because it's very personal."

"The coffee, are you going to admit it now?"

"Yes, I'm sorry if I lied. Pai is our cousin whom we respect and admire so much that we call her Senpai. I just didn't want you to get upset with me. Kaya hindi ko rin magawang aminin dahil kailangan kong itago sa lahat na pinsan ko siya."
