It’s 2 in the afternoon and I’m here in my class, daydreaming and constantly glancing out of the window. I kept this up, just waiting and waiting until the dismissal bell rings. The class is boring – as usual.

But the thing is, I kept thinking about him. I was expecting him to be my friend, since I didn’t have any. It was like he was the only one who was willing to talk to me, listen to me – unlike others. Can he be my friend? Yeah, I just expect him to be my friend, not more because I’m not the type of person who wants to be in relationship. I mean, I’m only 16 and lot might be at risk if I dated him. It was more impossible to date a superstar like him. Oh Luna, you’re overthinking again.

I keep asking the same exact question to myself when the most beautiful sound of the shrill school bell echoed throughout the halls and filled the classrooms. Finally. I slung my backpack over my shoulder and quicklyslipped out of the room before anyone else. I decided to go to the park again hoping he was gonna be there again.

After taking a ten-minute walk, I finally arrived in my destination. Before I sat down under my usual place, I glanced one more time to see if there’s a sign of his presence in the premises. My heart dropped when I found no signs of him. Although, there wasa little girl sitting on the bench while playing with her dolls. I decided to approach where she was situated just to ask her some questions.

“Hello,” I said softly and sat beside her. Fear and shock crossed her features and she hurriedly scooted away from me.

“Hey listen I’m not gonna hurt you,” I tried to soothe her worries and inched closer to her. Her face looked even more horrified as her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. Her hands that were holding on to her toys were even shaking now.Oh Luna, you shouldn’t say that to a little girl.

“I just want to ask a question, sweetie. Is that alright?” I decided to be more straight forward now and just get on with my intention. I flashed a warm smile so she could at least relax.

She hugged her dollscloser to her chest as if I was about to swipe them away from her.I took her silence as a response.

“Did you happen to, erm, see a man with a hat around here?” I cut to the chase and watched looked at her hopefully.

She shook her head fervently and much to my dismay, she jumped off from her seat and sprinted away from me. I don’t think she’ll ever come back here.

“Looking for me?” I heard a man speak from behind me, and I immediately figured out whose honey-like voice this belonged to.I turned around and found Bruno with his hands in his pockets and a cocky smirk plastered on his face.

“And it’s not right to treat a children like that, you know” he knowingly pointed out, shaking his head in mock disappointment.

“I’m just—“

“You should learn how to treat a kid from me. My nephews once called me ‘The Greatest Uncle in the World,’” he winked.

“Okay, okay,” I said in between laughter from his overconfidence.

“So…Why were you looking for the Brunz?” he asked, the stupid yet sexy grin still inerasable from his features.

“I’m not,” I shot back at him, denying his correct assumption.Yes I am.

“You miss me, right?” he continued to tease, cocking his eyebrow and he slowly leaned his face closer to mine. My breathing hitched at the intimidating closeness between us.

“What are you talking about?” I played dumb, immediately pulling my self away from him since he seemed to suck the oxygen around me.Of course I miss you.
