"Rose we can't continue t his on any longer."

"I understand sir, I'll start packing right away." I said

I can do this, I've done this before. The earlier I leave the better.

The Alpha sighed, rubbing his temples between his fingers, "You know that's not what I meant."

"With all due respect sir, but I believe it's better this way." I reasoned. It is, it seems like death and danger seems to follow wherever I go. Maybe by separating myself from this pack, it'll follow me elsewhere.

"And for what cause? For the next girl in a different pack to suffer the same fate? You can't keep running forever Rose." He placed his hand on my shoulder, looking at me with the same fatherly eyes he held 3 years ago.

"I can't let you lose another because of me. " I pleaded. The image of the mother mourning for her child still fresh in my mind. I can still hear her sob up until now. I don't think I can handle another.

"And we won't because you're moving back. Or just until we figure something out" His voice firm, telling me his division is final.

What? Moving back...

My eyes widened when his words registered. "I- I...um-"

"There's no arguing around this. I already informed them of your arrival for tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?! "

He sighed. "You know I'm only doing what's good for you Rose. You're the closest I have to a daughter. Right now, the safest place for you to be is at your old pack. " I nodded though a traitor tear escaped my eye. The thought of coming back stirred my wolf.

"A mistake you made then doesn't define your while journey." He smiled at me reassuringly. "And who knows?  Maybe this time will be different."

He caressed my head like a wolf would on his pup. "Don't worry yourself too much child. Lean on the truth and see where it goes from there."

And that's how I found myself on a plane sitting next to a snoring passenger who was adamant on going with me.

*snore*

Gosh, half the passengers are throwing glances at us. I sunk back further into my seat and pulled the cap even lower. Haha don't mind me I don't know this guy.

The guy beside me snorted awake and groggily looked around until his eyes found mine.

"Rose are we dare yet?" I groaned when his eyes zeroed on my cap. "What's the cap for? It's not raining or anything, stupid." He snatched it from my head before I could protest and shoved it in his bag.

Have you ever had an urge to suffocate someone with a pillow? Yeah? Because I did but I doubt Kurt's mate would like the idea very much.

We drove in silence heading to my old pack, the Julivar Coastal. A pack of 1000+, named after the 1st generation Alpha, Julivar. Though the pack are few in numbers, it is one of the most powerful or if not the most powerful pack today. They have highly trained warriors and let me tell you,  they're hella strong. I know this because I've seen them in action. The pack is feared and respected that no-one dare to cross they're way.

Kurt kept glancing at me but I chose to ignore it and instead,  looked around the familiar trees. We're almost there.

Kurt slowed his car to a stop when two bulky men blocked the road up ahead. The aura they imit were no mistaking it, we're here.

The walked towards us, each knocked on separate windows. We rolled the window down and passed them our paper works and ids. They did a quick scan and nodded they're head,  stepping aside and letting us pass.

We drove for twenty minutes more until we reached a giant towering castle.

The pack house.

I released a shaky breath and ran my hands across my face. Shit.. I did not really think this through.

The car came to a stop at the giant gate I knew all too well. Here goes nothing. We stepped down the car and immediately a tall lanky old man greeted us and asked for our car key which Kurt gave.

I smiled and thank the man which he returned with a warm smile of his own before scurrying back to do his job.

That's new...

I smiled to myself. This pack doesn't usually receive much visitors, which I doubt changed over the years but I'm glad that he took my word and got himself someone to welcome the visitors.

Another man greeted us, who was told to be the one to walk us to the Alpha's study. We followed after him. Kurt looking around in amazement while I take every step with the pounding in my heart getting louder.

We were halfway to the door when a voice came booming at us.

"Rose!"

I turned around frankly, recognising the voice and immediately running to the owner of the voice and hugging him tight.

Peirce

He chuckled merrily and returned my hug with equal force. It's way been too long and there's so much more here that I missed after all.

One would be this cheeky blue eyed man who's hugging me like it's his last. I bit the inside of my cheek guiltily. I wouldn't blame him if he does. We may not be related by blood but we we're siblings by heart. And three years with not seing each other was hard for the both of us.

We we're inseparable.

Suddenly a familiar scent made its presence known.

I swear I've never pushed someone so fast that even flash would be jealous.

I whipped my head in search of the scents carrier and was met an electric blue eyes I knew all too well.

Axeros Clyde Silas III, all in his glory.

I ain't no mind reader but it doesn't take one to know when someone isn't enthusiastic to see me again.

"Fuckkkk" Peirce cursed under his breath. Looking at the certain Alpha who I just noticed, haven't moved a muscle at all. One would think that he wasn't expecting us or rather me...

Wait

Oh shit...

I looked at Peirce and the guilt plastered on his face told me what I needed to know.

Thud

I think my heart just did a summer salt...
