*Lilys pov*
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" George yells as I slip into the passenger seat,
"I don't even know.." I reply, all I knew was that I had a huge smile on my face.
"Well.. What do you have to say for yourself?!" George spits,
"Fuck that was amazing"
Ellie burst out laughing from the back seat, I turn around and smile at her. George however, didn't find it so comical.
"You don't even know him Lil! You can't go 'round kissing strangers!" George exclaims, turning the key quickly and starting the car,
"He's not a stranger! George, that's Tom Fletcher! My future husband" I state, smiling as I said husband.
"Lily he's two years older then you! He's in a band, he travels the world - you would barely see him when he goes on tour! I forbid you to see him again."
"You can't forbid me!" I shout, turning to face him in the seat,
"I can, and I am! Stop acting like a fucking child." George state simply, fists and knuckles whitening as his grip tightening on the steering wheel.
"Stop trying to act like my father! I don't need him back!"
George's face softens, his grip on the wheel becomes looser, his whole body relaxes. The car comes to a slow stop, pulling into a lay-by. I looked over to George, my eyes full to the brim with tears, his eyes closed an head resting against to steering wheel.
We sat there in the car for a while, practically silent other then the whooshes of cars passing us on the road. Soon enough the car stutters to life and George makes his way back onto the Tarmac.
"See you soon Lil, i'll call you" Ellie mumbles as she steps out of the car, and towards her house. I look out the window, waiting for the car to start again and get on our awkward-silence-filled ride home. But the car doesn't move. Another sigh escapes George's lip.
"I'm sorry" He whispers. I stay silent. It was out of line for him to say that. He was acting like my father, and there was no way I was going to let him act like that.
"Lily, please say something.. I'm sorry for calling you a child.. I sorry about all I said."
I looked over to him, but refused to speak. "Lil common, what can I do to make you talk to me?"
"Take me home" I state. He sighs before doing what I asked.
"Sandy's pov* (Lily's mum)
The smell of chocolate and Oreos filled my nostrils as I pull the cake out the oven, I put it besides the fridge - waiting for it to cool before icing it.
I hope lily enjoyed her present. they're literally all she talks about, over the past years she's always telling me about the dreams she's had about the boys - always telling them with so much passion and love, and so much detail, like she never wanted to forget them.
I had ordered the VIP tickets months ago, yes they cost a lot but she's worth it. And I knew that she was going to love it!
The cake was done, iced and candled. Sat in the middle of the kitchen table surrounded by other cards and presents from Lily's friends and relatives that I'd collected over the past weeks - hiding them from her view.
Only a few minutes before Lily and George were supposed to come through the door, lily with a bright smile on her face and hands full of merchandise from the concert.
Another half hour past, no sign of them at all. Mother in-stinks got the better of me, I picked up the house phone and called George. It rang a few times, until voicemail kicked in.
I started to pace around the rooms, back and forth through the house.

The front door. I made my way out of the kitchen, waiting to see the excited face of a six year old on christmas but really my nineteen year old coming back from a concert that she'd been longing to go to.
George slips through the door first, a blank and slightly sad look on his face. He holds the door open for Lily, she looks up at me with a large smile on her face. She runs up to me and swings her arms around my neck pulling me into a hug.
"Thank you so much mum, I love you" She whispers into my hair, still with me a tight hug.
"You're welcome hun, happy birthday!"
George wonders off past us and hear him walk upstairs. "So how was it?!" I exclaim pulling her towards the kitchen table.
"Aw mum it was incredible, well actually. First it was crazy, then the concert was spectacular just as I imagined! and then something magical happened.." Lily trails off, heat rising to her cheeks.
"What happened?!" I squeak, I was so excited! Maybe she met a boy? Oh how romantic! Maybe they already knew each other? Maybe they went to the same scho-
"Tom kissed me" Lily smiles, jumping up and down slightly,
"Tom.. Tom who?" I ask,
"Fletcher! Tom Fletcher, mum!"
"Wh-hat?!" I stutter, "ho-ow?"
"It was so complicated.. First I met the boys, they knew the same as me! We all had the same dream, but then they tired to hide me and Ellie from Tom - they said that he went crazy after he kept having the same dreams as me, of me. But at the end of the concert Toms eyes locked on mine, and something happened.. Ellie and I went to wait outside to get home and, and Tom was suddenly behind me.. and we kissed!"
"Oh my.."
So.. she wasn't the only one having these dreams. They were real?
"Mum are you okay? You've gone white as a sheet" She whispers, rubbing her thumb over my knuckles,
"I'm confused.. that's all Hun.. But I'm so happy for you! How was it?"
"It was magical! Perfect! I wish I could just go back and re-live it!"
"Well it sounds amazing, but how about we have a mid-night-birthday-cake-slash-open-birthday-presents-feast-thing?" Lily smiles and nods.
I had never seen this girl so happy, it made me smile seeing her like this. But there must be some explanation for this..
