??? POV
She's the image of grace and innocence. The way she walks into school every morning with a smile on her face. Her complexion radiating like the sun. The way her long, silky, chestnut colored hair breezed by her as she took long, graceful strides down the wide hallways. Her chocolate toned eyes sparkled in the bright light of the empty hallways. She almost lit up the school.
She was delicate, frail, small, and slim. I hadn't been near her often and when I am, the top of her head just barely reaches my wide shoulders. She couldn't have been any taller than a mere 158 cm. It was adorable how much I could tower over her. She wouldn't stand a chance in an argument with me. I could only imagine her fighting like a kitten.
I was far from that grace and innocence. My life was full of hanging around my group of rowdy male friends, playing card games until 2 in the morning and drinking the strongest whiskey in my secret stash. The scent of alcohol almost radiating off of each one of by the end of each night, with heavy rap and hip-hop music blaring in the back, yelling at each other over everything we could find.
I needed that kind of innocence in my life. I was content with my way of life before I met her. She was a new student. She had just transferred out of a private school to attend public school. Anyone could tell she was from a private school. The way she would be so soft-spoken, the way her eyes lit up at the smallest things, she wasn't made for this kind of life. She wasn't corrupted, and I felt the need to protect her. Though not one of us had said a word to each other.
It's been 3 months since school first started. The only things I knew about her was the basics. When she had first moved, she spent some time with one of those rowdy friends, Kim Taehyung. You could almost say they had dated. He spent some time at her house and took her out on dates. Unfortunately, it didn't end well. Taehyung didn't know how to treat such a small and frail girl and ended up being much too extreme for her taste. He didn't know that, "am I really that stupid?" was a rhetorical question.
She truly was innocent. She supposedly did not let Taehyung kiss her, touch her, or go to even first base with her. She basically was closed off like a wall to him. He grew whiny and impatient and one day she just had enough. I admired her confidence. She was small, but she was mighty. She was graceful, but she was bitter. She was truly the image of perfection in my eyes.
I know nothing about her other than her name, family members names, age, and favorite food, sesame balls. She was one year younger than I, yet we had gotten into the same grade due to the fact that she must have skipped a grade when she was young. I admired her intelligence.
She was perfect, almost too perfect. I knew that there must be a deep dark secret that hid within those walls of her house, maybe even her mind. Was it a family secret? Was it her own? I wasn't sure, but I was curious. I had to know what was going on inside of her precious little mind.
There were days when she would come in with bags under her eyes, forcing a smile on her face but it almost seemed tiresome, like she had been faking for far too long. She would wobble or limp instead of her long strides, but she would still try and maintain her compositor and title of graceful.
But she was smart. She wouldn't dare get involved with me. I didn't have to know her to know that. Nobody is dumb enough to get involved with me other than my close friends, who were stupid enough to do any brash decision they faced. Not one part of me feared Taehyung. He was still talking about her to this day. Mostly it was the annoyance with how much of a prude and the stuck up bitch she was, but I knew he just couldn't admit he was wrong. He wasn't like that. He was the only stuck up in the entire relationship.
I wanted to save her. I needed to save her. She was not okay and I was the only one who could see through her white lies and fake smile. She needed my help.
I didn't care what he thought.
I want Han Rose.
I won't let anything get in my way of getting her.
Not even her pesky attitude.
I, Jung Hoseok, am going to kidnap Han Rose.
