Chapter 1: Grad Party

Day of the going away party

Gray and mark leave the next day

Grays pov.

We got everything done for the party. My baby sister left to pick up her boyfriend, zach, hes in a band, well theyre just starting. My other little sister, evita already had her boyfriend, mala chi, here he was a kid from her school. Me and mark were exusted, he slumped in the couch waiting for the party to start. After jess got back, she brought all of her boyfriends band, jack, jonah, corbyn, and daniel, with her so me and mark go up and greeted them, being the good hosts we always try to be.

Me and jack ended up talking for a while. He said that hes sad that we couldnt talk more. I took it as he meant because i was moving to a different country. Then he said the words ive heard since we were kids.

"You and mark are so cute together." I answered how i normally do when these things happen

"Oh, me and mark are just friends, were not dating. But thnak you, ill go tell him." Then i walk away to mark and tell him what happened and we laugh about it, like always. While i was explaining it, our parents walked out holding this small white dog.

"Good luck out there, were giving you him to help protect you. He may be small but he puts fear in peoples hearts, and since we cant be there to help heres, coco" Marks Dad told us handing coco to Mark.

"Thank you uncle" i said hugging him.

"Thanks Appa" Mark said to his dad. We started playing with coco.

Papa tuan pulled me to the side later on and told me

"Please watch over Mark, he likes to push himself. Makes sure he still takes care of himself."

"I will uncle, thank you for coco." I hugged him again and went back to Mark. It was the end of the night so everyone most left, me and Mark went down to his house. We were tired so we were dancing and singing to random songs. We were jumping around and he tripped and landed on me on his bed. We stared into each others eyes. Then he got up and helped me up and he pretended nothing happened. I was already packed for tomorrow so i just slept over.

Marks pov. (Itll skip around sorry i dont wanna repeat the same thing over and over again)

After Grays sister came back with her boyfriends band Gray got really close with Jack. They were standing there talking and laughing. I was watching them making sure Gray was okay. Jack said something and seeing grays's face i knew excatly what he said. After he answered he came up to me, i pretended i was doing something else he told me what he said. *skip* as we were playing with coco my dad pulled Gray away from me. I stayed with coco. Coco would help Gray when im training until my days off. I thinks thats why our parents got him. *skips* we were jumping around to music and i tripped and pushed Gray on my bed and landed on him, we locked eyes. His eyes are gorgeous, theyre somehow blue but his hair is dark black. We stayed like this until my brain said kiss him, thats when i got up and helped him up, to not cause awkward tension i pretended nothing happened. Gray slept over and in the morning helped me pack, because i waited last minute. We were eating breakfast when Gray realized we dont have a ticket for coco. Then my mom explained why she picked coco.

"Hes an emotional support dog. He doesnt need a ticket, all of his papers are with Grays parents. All you have to do is show them his papers and theyll let him on."

After breakfast we went to Grays house to get all of his stuff. Coco has her own little emotional support dog vest. We collected everything and packed it into the car. Grays sister Evita drove us to the airport. As we were on the plane Gray got really nervous, coco slept under our feet and Gray held onto my hand. After a little bit he fell asleep on my shoulder. When we landed i help Gray settle in and he came with me to JYP to drop me off. Before he left we hugged. Not like ill see you later friend kind of hug, but like the kind of hug that you do if youll never see the person you love again. He teared up as he walked away. after he left i went in and made it to my room before crying, i wasnt comfortable with them yet to cry it front of them yet

Grays pov. Right after he left Mark.

I started crying so i ran home with cocos leash in my hand. When i got home, i realized how truly depressed i get when im not around Mark. I hugged coco crying as i went to sleep that night. How am i gonna do this?
