Chapter 1- Finding The Mate

Hayley's P.O.V

When i woke up the first thing i saw was my dog Leah breathing heavy and licking my face to wake me up. I looked at the clock on my bedside table. It read 6:20 am, I had about an hour and 30 secounds to get up, but sence im up i mine as well get up and wake Kassie up to get ready for school. Heres the thing about my step-sister, she hates mornings it takes her about three hours to get her up so i get to get a pillow in the head in about four seconds. 

Iwalked into her room and th first ting i see is her sitting up in her bed and texting someone. She looked up and laughed at me beacuse i was shocked that she was up this early in the morning. I asked her " why are u up so early in the morining?"'Dad woke me up to take Leah out to go to the bathroom.""ohh ok i was just going to wake u up to get ready for school and maybe make me brakefest??"'Mom should be up in a bit to make brekfast why don't you go gte dreesed." Then i walked out of her room to get ready for school.

(After getting ready for school)

After i was done getting ready i walked down staires to see Kassie in a very classy dress that she wore to our parents wedding. She lookedup from her phone and smiled at me. That smile that i know all to much. She was going to scary either our dad or our mom. Was going to tell her no but its fun to see their faces after being scared.

So when our mom go down the stairs she was in her all blck dress for work. She works with my dad thats how they met. Not long after my dad walked down the staries in his suit for work as well. So after he sat down at one of the stools Kassie and i walked up behind him and said BOO! and both parents jump like three feet in the air.

After we ate we had to go to school. We hoped in Kassie brand new Jeep that my dad got her for her birthday. And i got a car two it was just easier to take one car to and from school. 

When we go to the school we found a paeking space and took it before anyone else could. Then i smelled the most beautiful smell. And i could tell so did Kassie. we looked at eachother and fallowed the smell to a group of boys a little older then us. Two of them turnd around and had this look in there eyes saying that we were their mates. 

The two boys walked over to us. The boy that stoped in front of Kassie had brown hair with a little blue on the top of his head. The one that stop in front of me had brown curly hair. They lead in adn i bet the one at Kassie's ear said the same as mine they both said at the same time "MINE" And right there i know that they were our mates.
