Lilycatchers Story, A Warriors Fanfic

Chapter 3

Lilypaw, after many moons of training, was called into Crowstars den.

She was very excited as he swept his jet-black tail over the ground. He motioned for her to sit and she did. Trembling, she looked at him.

"Lilypaw." He meowed. "According to Clearpool, you are ready to become a warrior."

"REALLY?!" She squealed, leaping up in excitement. "Oh StarClan! Am I ready??!!" Lilypaw felt like she was about to faint from excitement.

"Oh yes, dear, sit down." Purred Crowstar, looking down at her. "You passed a mini-assessment we did and we know youll pass the next one, so we dont even need to do it."

Lilypaw, trembling, sat down and curled her tail over her paws.

"Okay." She mewed. "Lets do it now."

"All cats please gather!" Yowled Crowstar.

Lilypaw scrambled over. She spotted Honeybreeze, who was Honeypaw, glaring at her. The she-cat had became a warrior a moon before and still held a hatred for the innocent apprentice. Honeybreeze was mates with Crowstar and she was pregnant with his kits. She swung her large belly angrily as she huffed as the crowd fell silent.

"Lilypaw! Step forward!" Smiled Crowstar.

She did so.

"You have trained long and hard. Under guidance from myself and Clearpool, you have shown yourself to be kind-"

"WHAT?!" Screamed Honeybreeze. "SHE IS NOT KIND!!!"

"I-"

"NO! I REFUSE!" Yowled Honeybreeze. The Queen leaped at Lilypaw and scored her claws down her belly, opening a long wound from when she was a kit. "YOU WILL NOT BE A WARRIOR!" Howled Honeybreeze, who was now clawing at Lilypaw with unsheathed claws. Lilypaw yowled in pain, trying desperately to get the she-cat off, but Honeybreezes belly was pressed down and was keeping her down.

"H-help.." choked Lilypaw. She could barely breathe.

"LILYPAW, DIE!" Howled Honeybreeze. Her gaze shone with hatred as she sunk her claws into Lilypaws soft, plumy belly fur. She opened her jaws wide and prepared to deliver the death blow.

"H-help-!" 

Lilypaw was cut off. 

Honeybreeze had sunk her teeth into her throat.
