Chapter 6

"Gleampaw! Gleampaw!!" Cheered ThunderClan.

Lilycatcher approached her daughter and nuzzled her. Gleampaw purred.

"I love you!" Purred them both at the same time. Lilycatcher wove around her kit and curled her tail around hers. Gleampaw smiled.

"I need to go train now." Said Gleampaw and she walked out of camp.

Lilycatcher sighed and decided to talk with Crowstar. She walked into his den and she recoiled in horror at what she saw.

A faint, honey-colored shape hung over the limp body of Crowstar. The cat seemed to be shimmering as a red aura surrounded her. She turned around to see Lilycatcher and let out an ear-shattering yowl.

"NO!!!" Screamed Lilycatcher. "HONEYBREEZE NO!! GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!" She yowled angrily.

Honeybreeze sprinted to her and leaped on her. Lilycatcher slashed her claws over her face.

"GET AWAY!!! YOU-!!!!" Lilycatcher was cut off as Honeybreeze clawed her throat. "OW!" Screamed Lilycatcher.

"GET!! OFF!!!" Lilycatcher sunk her teeth into Honeybreezes throat and the reddish-she-cat fell still, slumping onto Lilycatcher.

Breathing hard, Lilycatcher stood up and padded to Crowstar, who was laying limply and twitching. "Crowstar?!?!?" Wailed Lilycatcher.

"Oh my mate.. I miss you so... I will be dying soon... This is my l-last l-life and I cann-cannot sur-survive much l-longer... I know our kit-kit will be... beautiful... Goodbye..."

Crowstar fell still and his eyes closed.

"NO!!!"
