*His POV*
The girl next door was a menace to herself. Sipping from his cup of tea, Jungkook studied the rain flooding down into his backyard and thought about the woman. Seriously, she'd climbed up on her roof to fix a hole. To make matters worse she'd wore the most ridiculous shoes for the job. They had literally no grip. He shook his head.
Taking another sip, he narrowed his eyes as he spotted movement in the yard. Something moved in the bushes and then disappeared again. It definitely wasn't a person, it was too small, has to be an animal. Probably a cat. He made a face.
Lightning cut across the sky and he once again turned his thoughts to his neighbor. She'd moved in while he was on vacation and this was the first time he had the chance to meet her. Man, their first meeting had went over like a lead balloon. Like the Titanic, basically horribly. She probably thought he was an ass.
Speaking of ass, mmmmm. He took another sip of tea and closed his eyes. He could almost picture the perfectly curved derriere that had pressed into his abs earlier. Soft and full and luscious. Soft, plump thighs that could hug a man's hips while he- Jungkook scowled and moved closer to his window.
There was definitely something moving in his yard. He caught another movement, a small, fuzzy flash of black and something tiny dashed across the drenched grass before scurrying into his shed, where he left the door partially cracked. Damn. Some fur ball had just made itself at home in his shed. He just hoped it didn't make a mess all over the place. Maybe he should just go find it. No, he'd leave it be. He didn't like cats, but even he wasn't as cruel as to hunt the little thing out in a storm. He'd just have to scope it out later and remember to shut the door.
He stood looking out into the sodden garden in the setting duck until the downpour eventually stopped. He was just about to turn his porch light on when he caught another movement from the corner of his eye. This time it came from the direction of his privacy fence that divided his yard from his neighbors. If he wasn't mistaken, it was his neighbor's head popping over the fence.
What the hell? What does she want now and why is she out in the rain again? She is going to get sick. Jungkook shook his head. He was starting to think the girl was a little strange. He watched her with interest. He watched her stop about half way down the fence before trying to pull herself over the top. He watched her face appear and glance cautiously towards his house. He knew that she couldn't see him in the dark but still remained completely frozen. She popped back on her side of the fence but he was surprised when he saw the top of a ladder come up to the fence. And without a pause she scurried up and over landing in his yard.
Tea cup forgotten in his hand, he watched incredulously to pull the ladder over to his side of the fence. Leaning it against his fence, she looked around before walking across the yard to his shed. Jungkook's mouth dropped open in shock. What the hell? Was she seriously breaking into his shed? Another look around and she was scooting the door open and easing inside.
Anger burned through Jungkook and he crashed his cup on his counter before storming out the back door. He was intent on catching her in the act. Silently, he walked down the steps and across the lawn to the shed door. He could hear her murmuring to something inside. Was someone else in his shed? Easing forward to the door, he couldn't hear what she was saying. Speedily, the black fur ball whizzed out the door ad blended in with the night. He heard a thump and a curse followed before his neighbor stumbled out the door.
Jungkook grabbed her arm, she gave a surprised scream and spun around to face him. Fear radiated from her eyes and she struck with her knee. He managed to doge the blow that would have any wish that he had for children. He made a grab for her other hand. The dark wasn't making his job any easier. She struck out at him again.
