"Y/N," Taewon called out.
You just stared at the floor. You don't know what to do now. You finally found her but she was already dead. She had left you now. Taewon sat beside you on the bench.
"I contacted her aunt. We need a relative of her to register her death. She said she'll handle the funeral herself too. She wants to do this one last thing for her." He told you.
"Her parents died when she was 10. Her aunt took care of her since then. But, her aunt's husband made her teenage years tragic. She stayed quiet knowing how much her aunt loves him and when she found a way to escape, she ran away. Taewon hugged you as you started to cry. He patted your back gently to comfort you. You just don't know. You're willing to take care of Mario but you don't know if you're ready. No one prepared you for this.
"I'll...be with you every step of the way so don't worry, ok? You're not alone. I'm here. You never walk alone." He said making you smile a bit.
"Thank you."
After all the arrangements, you went back to Gwangju. Mario was asleep in the cake shop when you arrived. After telling all the employees what had happened, you had to prepare yourself to tell Mario. Even before you were ready, Mario woke up.

You turned to him and smiled. "Ne."
