What happened? Where am I? Is this Barr's doing? Why does my head feel like a ice pick went through it? What's restraining me?

My eyes snap open when cold water is thrown into my face. I shake my head, then I spit some of the water and blood mixture out of my mouth. I look around the room I was in, trying to figure out where I was.

"She's awake," a man's voice said.

"She's pint sized. I thought you said she was a fighter," another man's voice said.

"Enough," a third man's voice snapped.

I groan softly, starting to shiver as the cold water finally soaked me to the bone. I close my eyes as I feel my nose start to bleed again, possibly from stress or the blow to the back of the head I had received.

I felt someone tilt my chin up, then I felt them gently dab at the blood coming from my nose. I softly groan again, but I don't panic at all.

"You alright," the third man asks.

"I guess so. I have a splitting headache and my nose is bleeding," I say softly.

"Open your eyes, Miss," the third man said.

"I know what you're going to do. You're going to torture me and try to get information from me. I don't know what or who you want, but I just want to hop on in the driver's seat of my truck and vamoose," I murmur.

I felt soft, yet calloused hands on the sides of my face, then I felt thumbs wipe away the tears I had falling from my eyes. I didn't know I was shaking either.

"Mac, cut her loose and give her a room," the third man says.

"Why? She's nothing special," the man whom I assume is Mac argued.

"Because Charlie said so," the third man said.

I open my eyes and blink.

Who the hell is Charlie?
