After being cut loose from my bindings I was lead out of the room I had been held in. My head was still hurting and my body ached. I stumbled then I tripped over my own feet.

"Watch it," one of the guards snap, roughly grabbing the back of my neck and hauling me to my feet.

"Leave her be, Chet. The boss will know what to do with her," the other guard said.

I lock my jaw and hold back the urge to beat the living hell out of my guards. I ball my hands into fists at my sides to keep myself from following through with my urge to fight.

"Who the hell is this," a new voice snaps.

I watch the two guards flinch out of the corners of my eyes, my heartbeat speeding up a bit. I watched a man step forward and I instantly stood still, my back as straight as an ambulance backboard.

"Who the hell is she," the man beforehand snaps at the guards again.

"She fit the description of one of the girls you were looking at," Chet said.

"I didn't want you numbskulls to abduct her," the man snapped a third time.

I roll my eyes and cross my arms over my chest. I deeply breathe, remembering my sniper training and how to calm myself. It didn't help much because the nerve under my right eye started jumping and twitching.

"Not now," I mumble, placing my right hand over my right eye.

"What's wrong," the man asks me.

"Got a twitching nerve, happens when I'm stressed or due to anxiety," I tell the man.

"Let me see," the man asked softly.

I remove my right hand just as the nerve started twitching again. I started to put my right hand back over my right eye, but the man gently caressed my cheek.

"Come with me and I'll try to help you relax," the man said.

I nod, then I ask, "What's your name?".

"My name's Charlie. What's yours?".
