CHAPTER 7

CHAPTER 7:

The school bell was ringing as I arrived the school corridors. I ran as fast as I can. Good thing our teacher hasn't arrived yet. I got up late this morning. I was slouching in my chair. Then the teacher arrived so I quickly sat up straight.

"Good morning class." Our teacher said. We stood up and greeted her back.

We were practicing our dance when someone came to the studio. It was Joy.

"How's practice?" she said like she wanted to choke someone.

"It's going great." Taehyung Oppa said.

"I can see good luck anyway." Joy said while leaving.

"What's up with her?" Sowon Unnie asked.

"I don't know. Let's take a break. I'm hungry." I said.

"Sure, I'll buy our food." Seokjin Oppa said. We all nodded.

"I'll come with you." Namjoon Oppa said. They went out then after a few minutes Ms. Honey came. We all stood up.

"Good Afternoon Ms. Honey." We all said.

"Good afternoon, how's practice?" Ms. Honey asked.

"It's great, we just took a break. Jin Hyung and Namjoon Hyung are buying our food." Jungkook said.

"Okay, good luck." Ms. Honey said as she went away.

"Thank you Ms. Honey." We all said. Everything was silent. Then Jungkook spoke.

"Eunha can I talk to you privately?" he said.

"Sure, what's up?" I said as we went outside.

"Are you free tonight?" he asked.

"Yes, why?" I asked.

"Well, I wanted to treat because you took care of my sister while she missing but don't worry she's with us tonight." Jungkook said.

"Sure but I have to ask my dad and brothers permission." I said.

"I'll go with you." He said.

"Deal" I said shaking his hand. We went inside again.

"What did you talk about?" Yerin Unnie asked me as sat down beside her.

"Jungkook asked if me if I'm free tonight because he wanted to treat me with his sister." I said.

"He did?" she asked with surprise.

Why is it..............." I stopped because Jin Oppa and Namjoon Oppa were back. They bought two boxes of pizza and they bought soft drinks too.

"I'm really hungry, let's eat so we can go back to practice." I said.

Dad and Oppa already gave me permission to go with Jungkook and Jamie. They took me to the KFC. I love KFC.

"I heard you like it here." Jungkook said.

"Where did you heard it from?" I asked.

"From Yerin Noona, she told me you really like it here." Jungkook answered pulling me inside.

"She did, didn't she?" I said as I sat comfortably in my seat.

"Yes, she did. Wait here while I order our food." He said leaving me with Jamie.

"You and your brother are really close, aren't you?" I asked Jamie.

"Yes, we're really close. We tell each other secrets but he talks about someone and he is not telling me her name. He really likes some girl but he won't tell me her name." she said pouting.

"He likes someone but he never told you her name? Maybe she is someone you know so that's why he won't tell you her name. Maybe he's embarrassed to tell you." I said smiling at her. I felt something weird. It's like something was wrong from the inside.

"Yeah, maybe you're right." She said smiling back. Jungkook was back holding a tray.

"Here is your food." He said.

"Wow, this looks so delicious." I said.

The day of the competition came. We we're all in our costumes. Boys wore white t-shirt, fitted black maong and black converse high. Girls wore loosened black t-shirt tacked in a short fitted maong, long white socks and white converse highs. We waited nervously for our turn. I was felt so nervous that I wanted the ground to swallow me alive.

"Are you alright?" Jungkook asked me. I looked at him and gave him a nervous smile. I can tell he's nervous too. We were all nervous. Our turn came. Before we went to the stage Jungkook stopped me and whispered something.

"Don't worry, we can do this!" he smiled. I felt something flutter in my stomach. I smiled back.

We were all in our places. The song started. We dance like nobody is watching us.

We are waiting for the results of the competition. The MC came in the stage holding the results paper.

"I have the results in my hand............ for third place............ Charleston Academy. For second place .................. San Pascua Academy. For first......... Quirino Academy and the winner of 2017 Dance Competition............... Hwangyangyeonhwa High School." We stared at each other and screamed.

"We won!!!" we went up on the stage.

We celebrated our schools victory. We had a nonstop party. No drinking is involved. I went home early because my family is having a small congratulation party for me.
