So with that being said, let's get into it...
My surroundings are gray.
The dreary sky is my only light source,
Rain droplets glisten on the glass of my bedroom window,
I admire them,
My mind wanders,
My surroundings are gray.I never noticed.
How simplistic but serene,
How minuscule yet intricate,
How a rainy day like this,
Could make me feel so at peace,
I never noticed.How strange.
That when it's downpouring so aggressively,
That when the raindrops land on my roof so loud,
That the sound of soft thunder can be heard in the distance,
That the once dry outside world is now damp and dewy,
It's as if the sky is mad,
It's as if the sky is sad,
How strange.Why is it?
That this grayscale cycle of weather,
Makes me smile,
Makes me relieved,
Makes me reminisce,
Makes me reflect,
Makes me regret,
Makes me depressed,
Makes me alone,
That this grayscale cycle of weather,
Why is it?
