Yuzuru Hanyu comes home to Sendai tired. After winning the Olympics, a ton of press conferences, photoshoots, and all those talks with the JSF, all he wants to find at home is peace and warmth. Like sitting in front of the fireplace with a warm milkshake in hand, letting the warmth of the fire warm you up while it's raining outside.
Fire comes in the form of Reika Fueguchi, an eighteen years old girl of a respected family, and the daughter of Yuzuru's father's bestfriend.
They first met as a child and a teenager, when the Fueguchi family comes to the Hanyu's residence. Played around together. Made some silly promises. But as life goes on, they parted ways and never see each other again.
That is, until beginning of March, during which his father reintroduces Reika as his "bride".
Tangled in an arranged marriage neither of them are ready for, Yuzuru doesn't take it well. He treats her as he likes, according to whatever mood's he's for. If Reika is fire that's supposed to warm him, he has thrown water and shut the fire many times.
Until Yuzuru realizes, even the greatest fire will die if it's extinguished coldly enough times.
Will it be too late then?
