Yuzuru got them their tickets and popcorn for the movie. They go to their seats in silence and Reika sighs in relief when Yuzuru lets her sit on the edge seat. She doesn't like to sit besides a stranger.

"Do you know what this movie is about, Reika?" Yuzuru whispers to her as they wait for the movie to roll.

"I'm not sure, I just saw the trailer and I thought it looks cool." Reika turns to him. The close distance to him makes her flustered for a second. "Let's see together, shall we?"

The movie starts to play and both of them stop talking to watch. The heroine of the movie, Maquia's thrust out of her idyllic home by the invading forces. She becomes truly alone and abandoned when she crash-lands on the back of a rogue. It's there she happens upon an orphaned infant, his dead mother still clutching him to her breast with stiff fingers, which Maquia has to break one by one in order to free the baby and care for it.

Maquia ended up taking care of the baby until he grows old. Yuzuru glaces at Reika more than several times as they go through the emotional ride of the movie. He smiles whenever Reika shows an expressive response to the movie, and ended up staring at her. Luckily, she never notices.

When the movie was over, Reika is sobbing tears. The ending got her crying her eyes out.

"There, there." Yuzuru pulls her into a hug, patting her head as an attempt to stop her from crying. "Don't cry."

"I can't help it," Reika sobs, leaning her face on Yuzuru's chest. "It's so sad! How come you're not crying, Yuzuru-san?"

"Hehe," Yuzuru chuckles. "I know it's sad, I almost cried. But I just didn't."

He doesn't want to show his crybaby side to her.

"Hngh, I think I'm going to call my mom later." Reika wipes her remaining tear.

"Yeah." Yuzuru nods, agreeing. The movie made him somehow misses his mother. "I think I need to call my mom too."

They walk around in the mall for around ten minutes before deciding to enter the Lotte Department Store. "You know, I work with Lotte Japan," Yuzuru tells her as he takes the shopping cart.

"Lotte?" Reika looks at him curiously, her eyes sparkle as she waits for answer. "What kind of work?"

"Hehe," Yuzuru chukles, embarrassed of being stared so intensely by Reika. "I model for Lotte Ghana chocolate... also I'm the face for their Xylitol gum products.

"Woah!" Reika claps, her smile widens as she cheerfully jumps around him. "Sometimes I really forget that you're a very famous person, Yuzuru-san."

Yuzuru laughs to her last statement. "Yeah, don't forget you're married to the Yuzuru Hanyu."

Reika stops her steps. Married. To THE Yuzuru Hanyu. "Hm."

"What's the matter?" Yuzuru stops and looks behind to her. "Find something you want to buy?"

Biting her tongue, Reika stares at Yuzuru's clear eyes straight–so intensely that the man almost feels like he's being sucked to an endless black hole. Without any filter, without any sugarcoating, she speaks so bluntly still with that soft voice of hers. "Yuzuru-san, are we really married?"

Wait. What? Yuzuru freezes in silence, his nails becoming pale as he holds the shopping cart with more strength than necessary. "Reika?"

She turns her gaze away, not realizing how significant Yuzuru's change in expression in a matter of seconds–almost looking as if the whole world just crushed itself leaving nothing intact. But with a sweet smile and blushing cheeks, Reika continues lightly, "I know our marriage was arranged, but I never once feel like a proper bride, you know?"

"You—"

"I'm not a dumb kid," Reika cuts his words. "like what you think I am."

Yuzuru feels like a bullet just pierced through his heart. "Reika, I never think you're du—"

"What should we do?" Reika tilts her head to the side, putting her index finger on her chin. "About our "married" life?"

Time seems to stop for a moment for Yuzuru. A thousand thoughts tangled to one another inside his mind. But like the calm and composed person he is, Yuzuru takes a deep breath before finally turning to her, staring at her straight with a simple smile on his face. "Then," he extends his hand to her. "would you like to start from the beginning again?"
