Prompt; "you need to wake up because i cant do this without you."

pain. that's all you've ever felt. wether it was because of the rumors that were spreading around, or because you were forced to work with the dread doctors, you felt pain every single day.

something about beacon hills made you have hope about things, hope that maybe someday you and your family will make it out alive. but that hope was soon destroyed when theo raeken came back into town with the dread doctors.

"what's the cause, raeken? come back to beacon hills to make my life a living hell?"
"part of the reason. the other one being, is getting my own pack."
"still have those unrealistic dreams?"
"no, because this time, you're helping me?"
"and why would i do that?"
"because we you wouldn't want your family knowing about you helping the dread doctors last year."

so here you were, in front of a group of hunters, hoping that maybe, just maybe you would make it out alive. but if you were to die, you had to replay the same message over and over again, just o reassure you that, you were dying a hero.

"where's scott mccall?" one of them asked. they had a gun, lined with wolfsbane, pointed towards your chest. you shrugged, bot opening your mouth. "i'll ask you one more time, where is he?"
"i told you. i, Y/N Y/L/N, do not know scott mccall, or where he is."

bang! the sound of the gunshot filled the deafening silence. they were gone as soon as you fell to the ground. blood spluttered out of your mouth as you got into a coughing fit. pain. i told you that the only thing you've ever felt was pain.

you weren't surprised when no-one noticed that you weren't with them, but you were surprised when theo ran up to you, falling down onto his knees.

"y/n, stay awake. i need you to stay with me."
"why? so you could threaten me into working for you and the dread doctors?"
"no,no. im sorry, okay? i-i wont do it again."
"theo."

you vision got blurry, and your palms were sweaty. sweat dripped off your forehead, as you held onto his hand.
"i need you to forgive me, y/n."
you nod your head, saying that you forgave him. it wasn't long until the wolfsbane spread your heart.

your hand went limp in him, and your body went stiff. you lived for the day you would see theo cry, but it was too late. you were gone. you were dead, couldn't even say goodbye to your family.

"n-no, y/n. you need to wake up because i cant do this without you. please."

you didn't respond. he knew, deep down inside, that you were gone and there was nothing he could do about it, but he hoped that maybe he could bring you back to life. it was no use, though. he had the same hope you had years ago. the same hope that never came true. because in beacon hills, something bad always happened, it was something you and the pack knew about.

he couldn't leave your body. he couldn't move. he couldn't believe that you were gone. some part of him hoped that you would look into his eyes, and tell him that you were going to be okay. but once again, you couldn't hope for something in beacon hills. if you did, the complete opposite would happen.
