Last week, Jason finally passed his driving test. He didn't have time up until now to learn; it was something he has always wanted to do. Borrowing his friend's car, he was able to practise frequently. He was certainly not one of those 'boy racers' who drives around knocking people over, blasting terrible loud music, causing havoc and basically being reckless. No. Jason wasn't like that. He was sensible and mature like he always has been.

The very night he past his test, he stole his mother's keys that were in a glass bowl on the shelf at the front door (as always) once everybody was asleep. So proud of himself for gaining his license, Jason drove all night. Although, they arranged to meet that very Wednesday night, Christine was unable to make it due to family commitments. On one hand, this saddened Jason as he couldn't see his girlfriend but he enjoyed the freedom to drive alone. There he gained more practise and skill at driving as well as giving him time to think and contemplate matters. He was a very thoughtful and considerate person. Jason had always put himself before others and always cared for peoples well-being even though he was very independent. That's why he liked driving, it almost isolated him away from others as well as physically moving away from the nasty people and problems.

Before long, Jason has wounded up at the site where himself and his father has spent many hours fishing and having fun. Leaning on one the particularly large oak trees, he sat and pondered about everything and nothing. Jason had decided there and then that he truly has feelings for Christine. More feelings than he has ever felt for anyone.

Christine was the one for Jason, he just really hoped she felt the same way. The amount of times he has fell for someone who doesn't share the same thoughts is rather upsetting and disheartening to say the very least.

Before Jason knew, it was gone 4am. He started his mum's car and drove home again stopping for fuel along the way so it didn't appear too obvious that he stole it.
