[ ▪ lee jihoon ▪ ]

  the two males entered the room and was greeted by 10 members inside the practice room. they were all chatting about something but suddenly stopped when jihoon and and soonyoung arrived. jihoon looked around to see if seungcheol was there, but there wasn't any seungcheol inside the room. the members greeted jihoon and soonyoung. wonwoo even baked cookies for jihoon.

   the room was brightly lit. not too bright to hurt anyone's eyes, though. but, bright enough to see everyone. there were two mirrors that's attached to the wall and speakers for the music. there were three extra rooms inside the practice room and soonyoung told him that it was for resting and changing.

  since seungcheol wasn't present in the room, soonyoung explained what "seventeen" is.

  "we were originally seventeen members, but the other five members had to go because of their own reasons. we respect their decision and now we're left with twelve members. since you arrived, i guess that makes us thirteen members." soonyoung explained while jihoon listened. "there's three units in seventeen. we have hip-hop, performance and vocal. i'm the leader of the performance unit and i choreograph the dance steps. seungcheol is the leader of the hip-hop team, as well as the whole seventeen. there's currently none in vocal team." soonyoung took a marker and wrote on the mirror since there weren't any whiteboard around them.

  "you'll have to show off your skills so that we'll be able to decide which unit you'll be in." soonyoung said and gave jihoon a forced smile. jihoon nodded slightly as the members formed a circle around him. "let's make a bet!" chan yells happily. the members looked at him, interested in what chan has to say. "he'll be in vocal team no matter what, might as well be the leader of it too! i'll buy you all expensive chocolates if he doesn't get in the vocal team. the school principal has to decide which, obviously." chan said, standing up to call the school principal. the members watched chan as he run. jeonghan and the rest of the vocal team laughed.

  "it'll be nice to see jihoon as the team leader, right everyone?" jeonghan said and looked to his right. the vocal team members nodded and looked at jihoon. they gave him a pleasing smile, dk gave him a thumbs up too. it wasn't forced or anything. it felt genuine. he smiled back and gave a thumbs up too. he felt pressured. jeonghan made him sit down next to him so that he could hug and rest on jeonghan to lessen the pressure. the members played with jihoon as they wait for chan. "although, i really want those chocolates." jeonghan whispered to jihoon's ear making him laugh and hit jeonghan softly.

  chan quickly came with the school principal.  he was the ceo of pledis entertainment as well. he saw jihoon and waved at him. "good afternoon, yoon-nim!" the members greeted and bowed. jihoon did the same and borrowed joshua's guitar. "i think i can sing, along with jeonghan and seokmin." jihoon said, and looked at jeonghan and seokmin. they gave him a nod and went to the middle. jihoon strummed the strings as it sounds off a familiar tune. jeonghan and seokmin immediately recognized the song. seokmin inhaled and smiled.
