Your eyes fluttered gently open, to see streams of sunlight invade the room. You gently sat up to put on your cloths for the day. It was a plain brown dress with a dagger attached around the waist.

I know, not very elegant or acceptable for a princess to wear on a normal day. Buy today wasn't a typical day. It was the day everyone dreded. The day everyone called 'Día del Juicio Final' or 'doomsday'. It was the day where some would die, some would live and some would be taken and never seen again. Who do you blame for this? Giants.

The same thing happens every year, everyone fears for their life. It's your duty as a member of the royal family, to protect your people. 5 years ago today your father died, leaving you and your mother to rule.

■Flashback■

You were happily playing out in the massive castle garden, over run by a rainbow of flowers. Your mother and father watching you happily. You mother had you a 20.

Your were smiling proudly at the mud pie that you had created and dumped on a wooden bench, next to your parents. Suddenly, the alarm bells rung, signalling what people feared.

"Y/n, hurry!" Your mother said to you grabbing your hand. A vibration started to disrupted the ground, as if someone was stomping on it heavily. Gripping your mother's hand tightly, tears started to gather in your eyes.

"Shh, don't cry sweetheart, it's going to be fine." Your mother bent down to your height,to pick you up. You heard distant screams, causing you and your mother to run, with your father behind you.

That was when it happened. You turned around to see your dad being lifted off the ground by the monsters that haunt you.

"Papa!" You yelled, while tears were streaming down your face. He looked at you and smiled mouthing the words: 'I love you.' Your mother looked just as horrified, but wanted to keep you safe,and ran faster with you in her arms, with stinging water running at a rapid pace down your face.

That wasn't the next time you saw him, he was lying in a street with a broken neck and missing limbs.

'Papa, I will not let them get away with this.'

■End of flashback■

Once again, like they did 5 years ago, the warning bells chimed through out the kingdom, as a sign that everyone should hide.

You walked down to the entrance of the castle to see your mother, as soon as she spotted you she gave a weak smile.

"One day we will be free." She said giving a small hug. She was always optimistic, and always to you that you were like your farther. Stubborn. Everyone was preparing to hide in buildings and homes.

◇Meanwhile...◇

"You have the cages right?"

"Of course I do! I'm not a complete idiot!"

"Which part is missing?"

"At least I'm not a... a... frog?!!!"

"A frog????"

"Yes, an ugly, smiley, thingy... majic?"

"Pathetic."

"You think you're better at insults?!"

"ENOUGH!" A booming voice echoed though the air. All eyes were diverted to the owner of the voice.

"K-king J-jaxon!"

"No more of this arguing, we have to go." The king said sternly, with is son by his side.

The soilders and maids were covering up the windows in preparation, to keep everyone in the castle safe.

After they were done, once again, like every year, the sound of giant footsteps echoed throughout the once peaceful kingdom.
