Detective Chadwick Junior (or CJ, as everybody called him) was on his way to a murder scene at some local pool. Apparently, a man by the name of Charlie had been killed, and the criminal was idiotic enough to leave the body for show. With the winter season coming to an end, there was no way to know when the body had been put there since nobody checks the pool during the winter. The only way to tell when he was taken down would be to look at the body when he got there. CJ thought about who lived in the neighborhood thanks to the computer files of the town, nobody had any form of a criminal record except for two kids. Jack and Jill.

The two kids had gotten into much trouble in the past with the law for vandalizing property and minor misdemeanors for their childish pranks. However they were the only people in town with any form of criminal record. CJ pondered these thoughts as his chauffeur drove him to the pool. When he got there the first thing he did was inspect the body. There was multiple stab wounds and scars across it, and bruises all over him. Whoever did it didn't want anyone to know how he'd gone down.

However they did leave a knife next to the crime scene to mark their doing, not the brightest of criminals. CJ immediately had someone carefully put the weapon in a bag and send it to the lab at headquarters. They also took the body and had it examined by doctors, there were a few cracked bones and some bruises on the skull. The murderer was trying to hide the way he'd killed Charlie. The doctors did however manage to conclude that these injuries had been after Charlie was been stabbed in the back, further evidence been taken by surprise, CJ could tell by the stab wound there had been no struggle.
