The ship finally touches the dock and they anchor it to the port. The scary-looking men hop off and lay down the ramp. A small group of them make their way to the basement of the ship. They open the large trap door and the sun shines on their terrified prisoners.
A guard yells at them, "Hey, get up. We're going. And you better stay quiet or you know what happens.", while threateningly waving a rusty knife.
The young man takes the little girls hand and asks, "Where are you taking us?"
Another guard glares in annoyance, "That's not something you need to know. . . You have no choice anyway. And I said stay quiet."
He carelessly opens a large map, the drawings seemingly showing multiple passageways.
The young man discreetly takes a glance.
Guard: Enough talk, hurry up!
The man walks all the way to the back, looks to the girl, and whispers. "Ready?"
The little girl nods enthusiastically, holding some tinder and dry pieces of wood. The girl takes them and places it at the corner of the ship. The other prisoners look back discreetly and covers for them.
Guard: Hey! Hurry up!
The guards drag all the people out of the basement, they lead them to a secret passage under a bridge, far away from the eyes and ears of the officials and the citizens. Quietly, they walk through dark and wet stone corridors.
YoungMan: A secret passage under the harbor. . .
They continue to walk for some time now, taking multiple twists and turns. Finally, they reach a door.
Guard: Alright, all of you get in- ?!?! What the?!?!
Everyone suddenly noticed that the passageways were filling up with a mysterious smoke.
The guards starts coughing.
"What the hell?!"
Another starts running back. "Hey, the ship is on fire!!!"
"What?! Shi-", he stops mid-sentence as he falls unconscious.
The other guards too, fell fast asleep.
A woman praises the young man, "You did it!"
The tinder that the young man had the girl placed caught on fire, slowly burning the ship, and the small seeds that he placed along the corridor was to create something like a chain reaction. The fire from the ship would catch on the seeds one by one, releasing a sleeping gas.
YoungMan: It really wasn't much. The seeds that I made you guys eat earlier was to help resist the smoke. But we have to be quick because they might wake up early.
A man agreed, "Yes, but how will we get out?"
YoungMan: Don't worry, I memorized the map.
Everyone: What~?!
YoungMan: I have photographic memory.
Everyone nods in amazement. Really great to be intellectual!
YoungMan: Now, everyone please follow me. We have to leave quickly.
The young man lead everyone through the stone maze, after looking at the map, he found a shortcut that lead to the open harbor where they could get to safety.
After awhile, they saw light at the end of the tunnel and they came out, welcomed by fresh air and the different sounds and smells of the market.
A guard comes running at them yelling.
YoungMan: Everyone, run!!
The prisoners all scattered around, chaos was created in the midst of the market.
A guard had grabbed the little girl before she could run, holding her neck captive with a knife.
The girl starts crying in fear calling for the young man.
The young man freezes, "Let her go."
The guard continues to hold a knife against her neck. He decides to make a deal.
"This little girl won't be enough to satisfy the lord . . . I'll let her go if you take her place."
The young man immediately caught on to what he was suggesting. Looking at the terrified girl he unhesitatingly agreed.
The guard threw the girl away and grabbed the young man. Holding him hostage.
The girl yelped and called out for the young man.
The guard grins. "Hehe~ Come on." Then he drags the man by the cuffs.
The guard and the young man disappear amidst the crowd and back to the tunnel. . . .
