We were playing Uno when we heard a little PINCK on my window. I walked over curiously, and opened my window, but saw nothing but the other window from the other house, but there were now curtains, which hadn't been there when the house was vacant.
"What was it?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing." I shrugged. motioning to close my window.
"Wait! Keep it open! It's hot in here." Sarlett said. I nodded and kept it open. I walked back and sat down. "Uno!" Scarlett said, when she had her last card. Scarlett had already won three times in a row!
"Sheesh woman!" Maggie said. "Maybe we should change the color." She continued mischievously, putting down the card you could change the color. "Hmm, how about we change the color to... Red!"
We all went happily, and then we got to Scar.
"Well, Maggie, I have to thank you. I wasn't sure how I was going to win." She said, putting down a red seven!
"You've got to be kidding me!" Sam exclaimed, dropping all her cards. We all laughed.
"Well..." I started, smiling mischievously. "Do you guys want to watch a horror movie?" The color drained from Maggie's face.
"N-" Maggie started, but Sam and Scarlett linked arms with her.
"Yeah, we'd love to! Right Maggie?" Sam said, glancing at her, smiling.
"Not re-"
"Yes, we would!" Scarlett interrupted.
Maggie HATES horror movies. She freaks out so much, that the real show is watching her reaction while watching one. I grabbed my laptop and searched for a good horror movie. I found a good one that I hadn't seen yet. It was about a lady who lived alone, and a man sneaks in who is a total creep, and tries to kill her. It didn't sound so scary, just like any other horror movie out there.
We set up our beds around the laptop. "Guys, it's dark outside." Maggie said.
"It is! Good job noticing!" I said teasingly. She sighed. Scarlett turned off the lights, and I started it.

We were in the middle of the movie, and I admit, all of us were freaking out! The guy was no joke, the biggest creep I'd ever seen!
"No! What are you doing? You are so stupid, don't go downstairs!" Maggie yelled. "Oh, you're getting a knife, never mind." I had to actually agree with her. Then all of the sudden a mans hands grabbed the character's wrist, so she couldn't move her hands to defend herself! maggie screamed!
We watched for another 28 minutes when the poor lady got stabbed to death. After that, it had the ending credits. We all sat there for a moment, then I hurriedly closed out of it, and Scarlett ran to the lights.
"Agh! I also hate horror movies because the characters are always so dumb!" Maggie whined. After about five minutes of silence, I said, "Well then... My Little Pony?" They all glanced at each other, then said in unison, "Agreed." Thy all gathered around the computer again. I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous, but we watch kids shows, and it's a lot happier, and better to go to bed with, than a horror movie. We all sang along with the opening song.
After a while, my lights went out! We all yelped.
"Why did your light just go out?" Sam asked cautiously. We looked to my alarm clock, to see if it went out as well. It did. We pulled our phones out, and turned the flash light feature on.
