Insufferable Boys and how to Deal with Them

Chapter 7 The Prank of Nightwood High

      I opened my locker and grabbed some cans of silly string, and handed them to Rollan. I next grabbed some confetti tubes. (What am I supposed to call them?)

       "Here." I said, handing them to him too. Next I grabbed about twenty things of rope, and also 20 rocks. I then grabbed a hose sprinkler. I shut my locker and turned to Rollan.

      "How the heck did you fit all this in your locker? When did you do this?" He asked. I smiled.

       "Let's go!" I said, running down the hall. We ran to the first exit and met Scarlett, and Max there. Scarlett, had a ton of cushioned mats, and also sheets the color of the side walk. She also had other things, I couldn't see very well, because the blankets blocked them from my view.

       "Alright, let's get started!" Scarlett exclaimed. We started to set up. We set up pretty quickly, and moved on to the second exit. By the time we were working on the last exit, it was 1:20. I was honestly surprised that we set up that quickly, but with the help of Max and Rollan it was really fast!

         "Okay! This is good!" I exclaimed once we finished.

         "Aren't you scared there's like cameras here?" Rollan asked.

        "No, are school's to cheap to get cameras." I said smiling. "Okay, Scarlett, go to the front exit with Max, I'll be at the side, and Rollan you'll be in the back. We all have to record it, okay?" I grinned mischievously.

        "This feels so unreal right now." Rollan said.

       I looked at the time. It was 1:29. I got out my camera. Unlike Scarlett and Rollan, I had a nice camera instead of my phone to record it. The bell rang! I pressed record. People came rushing out of the school, and as soon as they did, the silly string was triggered, and started to shoot out at them! Then they tripped over the rope, and fell onto the mats covered with the blankets Scarlett had brought! When they had tripped over the rope though, it pulled the hoses switch and water started shooting out at them! It also pulled the strings for the confetti, and confetti burst out over them. I started to laugh, but hurriedly turned my camera off, and ran towards the school. I hurried and turned off the hose , and then I gathered it hurriedly. I started to run away, before very many people cared to even notice. I spotted Rollan running. I started running to him towards the front.

        "Rollan!" I called. He turned his head to look at me. I finally was running beside him. I asked him if he video taped it all. He just nodded. I smiled excitedly. Next I saw Scarlett and Max, hurrying around the school to see if we were coming. Our school isn't very small. "That was priceless! They were not expecting it in the least!" I exclaimed, as we continued hurrying away, but we had slowed as we neared the front of the school.

         Then we heard, "Scarlett, Liv! You are so dead!" We all stopped laughing, and turned to see a very angry Sam. Scarlett and I looked at each other.

       "Run!" Scarlett yelled dashing away towards my car! But then as we got near the front we saw Maggie! And she wasn't necessarily happy too! I turned to the side away from my school, and the others followed. 

        We got into the parking lot and stopped as we got to my car. Scarlett tried the handle, but I was still getting my car keys out. "Unlock the car!" Scarlett said, running in place, nervously. She looked back, and saw that Maggie, and Sam were getting quite close! I finally got them out and unlocked the car. We all hurried inside. I fumbled with my keys after too, and of course me being the clumsy old me, I dropped the keys. I hurriedly picked them back up, and shoved them into the key hole, and turned the car on.
