Can Your Heart Still Break If Its Already Stopped Beating?
Chapter Thirty One- I Had the Best Day With You Today
Liam and I went back into the venue after meeting with the girls waiting outside. I felt so relieved that everything was off my chest. So relieved in fact, I didn't mind taking a break from Harry. Maybe this was some sort of sign from somewhere telling me that I needed to pay more attention to Liam. Maybe it was for the better.
We got back to the hotel and settled down into our bed. "Liam, I'm bored. Like, really bored."
"How can you be bored already? You just came back from New Jersey. Haven't you missed me?"
"Of course I have! But, I sat through your concert and now I'm really bored." He sighed and gave me a look of disapproval. I smiled a childish smile.
"What shall we do then?"
"Let's do a...a Twitcam!"
"Really?"
"I'm sure of it this time. Please!" I whined a bit and gave him the cutest puppy dog eyes I could make. He sighed and smiled.
"Well, alright then. I've been meaning to do one anyway." He got out his Mac Book and began to set up the Twitcam. I looked over to the twins to double check if they were ok and they were sleeping soundly in their portable cribs. I blew a kiss to each of them and then the Twitcam started.
"Hello guys! Clara wanted to do a Twitcam, so here we are. How is everyone?" I stared at the comments. Nothing creepy like last time. I broke out my laptop and decided to update my Facebook. I haven't been on that website in ages. It still said I was single and my last status was in 2009...oops. I went to settings and instantly changed my status to married, but made sure that Liam's name was not put in there so that no fans could blow up his Facebook.
Suddenly, friend requests came out of no where. People's names I didn't recognized wanted to be my friend. I figured they were fans of One Direction, so I decided to accept them. It's not like I go on Facebook all the time anyway.
All of a sudden I got all of these messages from the ones I had become friends with. Some were kind and others were death threats, warnings, mean comments, and things about Harry and I. I shut my laptop right away and acted as if nothing had happened. Liam gave me a weird look, but continued on talking to the laptop. I joined in and waved to the camera.
I decided to read the comments aloud. "Liam, you are so lucky. Clara is such a pretty girl." Comments like these made me smile. "Shout out to Laura and Jenna." Liam put his arm around me and whispered in my ear.
"So, you're taking my job away from me, huh, pretty girl?" He kissed me on the cheek and I giggled. I did miss this. I'm definitely glad that Harry and I were going to be separated for a bit. I never realized how distracted I was to not see how much fun Liam could be.
"So, everyone. Would anyone care to hear any childhood stuff about Liam? I've got a few dirty little secrets about him."
"Oh, don't you go there, Clara. I've got dirty little secrets about you."
"Oh really? Looks like your fans are more interested about you. Well, since you all want to know things, let me start off simple. Liam used to terrorize me when I was little and he'd make me run and run and run. He's so terrible I know. I have asthma too. Haven't had an attack in years thank god. But still, making me run like that. He's a drill sergeant when it comes to running."
