Ethan and I were on our way to the concert. I was super excited. I turned on the radio, plugged in my aux cord, and started to play a bunch of Diego's songs.
"Bitch! Howcome you've never given me pink roses" I asked Eth
"Because I didn't think you liked roses"
"How can I not? They are so beautiful" I responded
"Yeah but they're kinda basic. I'd rather get you some other unique flower" He replied
"Nahhh i'm good with just roses" I laughed

We were heading to meet Lil Xan backstage. I quickly fixed up my hair and told Ethan if I looked good! He just snapped a photo and walked away.
"What the fuck?" I was confused

We were told to wait in the little area where there were couches. I began to take deep breathes to help me calm down and not loose my chill.
Ethan was talking to me about what we should do tomorrow, when i hear Xan's laugh.
"He's coming! Contain yourself" He said
"Oh my god. Hey! Ethan man i've been dying to meet you! And Mariana! it's so nice to finally meet you" he said as he gave ethan a bro hug and me a side hug
"It's great to finally meet you to Xan" I told him
"I go on in 2 minutes. Y'all stay here, enjoy the concert and we'll go out afterwards. Yeahh?" He asked
"Sure! Go Have fun" Ethan told him
"and good luck" I told him

We all decided to go eat at in-n-out. Xans friend Steven Cannon also came along.
Ethan and Xan really hit it off. They seemed like they've been best friends since forever. Steven also really liked Ethan. I felt like i was forth wheeling. Like i would just nod or laugh.
"So how did you two meet?" Xan asked Ethan
He had been referring to Ethan and I.
"We've been friends since before we could talk. Haha. Our moms were really close friends, so they'd spend a lot of time together, and we did too" Ethan replied
"shit that's cool. So y'all both 19?" He asked
"No. We're both 18, but he's older by 5 months" I replied
"Shit. i feel old. I'm 21" he said

After our long conversation at in-n-out, Ethan and I decided to go home.
"Hey Mariana, you're pretty cool. Maybe we should hang out or something?" Xan asked me
"Um yeah sure I'd like that" I giggled
"Here's my number. Call or text me anytime" He handed me a piece of paper he ripped off from the receipt.
"Okay. We gotta go now. I have work tomorrow and i gotta wake up early" Ethan said
"Yeah. Yeah. It was great meeting y'all! hope we could do this again" Xan had told us
