There is Only Room for One

Chapter 10

At 4 months the baby weight and bump really started to get annoying. The only way for Alfred to walk comfortably now was to have a slight waddle with his legs splayed out a bit. Not only that but his feet and back constantly hurt and no matter how he moved he always pee'd himself a bit, and that did not make for a happy omega. "Ivaaaaaaaaan!" Alfred whines from his place on the couch. The alpha groans and gets up from his desk. "Alfred I told that if you wanted to turn the heat up you could." Ivan walks into the living room and is brought to the sight of a very sad looking Alfred. "Do you think I'm pretty?" This makes him stop. "What?" "Do you think I'm pretty?" Ivan groans and rubs his face. "Alfred I don't have time for this. I have papers and reports to do because I have to do both of our jobs. I don't have time for stupid questions. Now please just let me work." When Ivan opens his eyes the sight he is met with is a painful one. Alfred now has tears running down his face as he desperately tries not to cry. "Alfred I didn't mean it like tha." "No. I get it. You  don't like the way I look. I'm just a fat omega that doesn't look pretty anymore." Alfred struggles a bit but he pushes himself up onto his feet. "Enjoy your stupid papers." He waddles out of the room. "Alfred!" Ivan sighs when he doesn't come back. "Great. Just great. I got him to be by my side forever then I don't call him pretty and run the whole thing." He adjusts his scarf and goes to find Alfred.

Alfred cries in one of his many hiding spots in the house as the twins squirm a bit inside him. "Your father is an asshole. I don't even know why I'm with him. Every time I question it I feel wrong for thinking that way but I don't even remember him courting me." There's a tiny kick and flutter as a response. "Thank you but that wasn't really helpful." That gets a kick to the bladder. "Rude." Alfred sighs and curls up around his stomach. "Stupid Alpha."

"Alfred! Come on! Where are you!" Ivan keeps searching the house looking for any evidence that Alfred is there. "I didn't mean what I said! You are very pretty! You know that you're my pretty boy! Just come out!" He walks down the hallway and up to the next floor. "Fredka baby. Come on sweetheart. Just come out so I can apologize properly." There's still no answer so he goes up to the next floor.

Alfred whimpers when he hears Ivan get closer to his hiding spot. "Stupid Alpha. Can't he just realize that I want to be left alone." He sniffs and rolls over. "Your father is stupid."

As Alfred talks to himself he doesn't notice that Ivan finds him. "Do you really think that of me." Alfred jumps and cowers in to the corner. "N-no Alpha. I didn't." "Alfred." He stops and lowers his head while expoing his neck. "You don't need to do that baby." Ivan gets down and crawls into the corner that Alfred is curled up in. "You're right Alfred. I am stupid." Alfred takes a chance and looks at him. "I was so caught up in my work that I didn't think of my precious omegas feelings." Alfred lets out a tiny noise. "You know that you're my pretty boy Alfred. No matter how you look. You are perfect." Alfred sniffs. "You're just saying that so I'll forgive you." Ivan shakes his head and puts his arm around Alfred. "Or I'm saying it so that you know I mean it. I love you Alfred. My pretty little Omega and even if I'm stupid and don't say it every day just know that it doesn't mean that you aren't pretty. Understand." Alfred gives a small nod and presses into Ivan a bit. "You're a stupid Alpha." Ivan smiles and kisses his head. "Yes. I'm a stupid Alpha but only because I want to take proper care of you." Alfred lets out a small hum as he settles into Ivan and he keeps him close.
