There is Only Room for One

Chapter 7

Ivan sits in his room terrified. He has to host the world meeting and that means Alfred is going to want to come. It can't happen. It just can't. Ivan gets up and leaves the room. "Venya!" Ivan starts to run but stops when he sees Alfred laying on the couch. "Fredka don't scare me like that." "Sorry Venya. I didn't mean to I just wanted to know if I could come to the meeting today since there's no traveling and the pups would be safe." "No." "But Venya." "I SAID NO!" Alfred cries and hides. Ivan sighs and walks over to his hiding place. "Fredka I didn't." "Why do you always yell?" "What?" "Why do you always yell when you don't get exactly what you want?" "Fredka I didn't." "Then stop." "Fredka?" "Stop yelling and stop trying to keep me hidden. I won't travel until the pups are born and I'll always be by your side but I want to see my friends and family. I miss them Ivan. Please." Ivan freezes. "Fredka. I can't." "Venya." Ivan looks at Alfred and sees the tears falling down his face. He closes his eyes and sighs. "You can come." "What?" "I said you can come." Ivan picks Alfred up and goes to the couch and sits down while wiping the tears from his face. "I'm sorry I made you feel like you were being hidden. I just don't want to share you and our pups." Alfred begins to calm down and lean into his hand. "It's ok Venya. I'm sorry that I got so upset." "Its ok Fredka. I should have given you more freedom. You're the land of the free. You can't stay hidden forever." Alfred smiles and kisses Ivan's cheek. "You're the best mate I could have ever have." Ivan smiles and holds Alfred close. "Let's go get you ready Fredka."

Alfred purrs as Ivan washes him off in the bathtub. "It amazes me how dirty you get when you don't leave the house." "Maybe you should clean the house more often so when I walk around I don't get dusty." Alfred laughs and splashes some water at Ivan. "Hey." "What? I didn't do it." "Fredka." "What?" Ivan splashes water in his face. "How dare you!" "It wasn't me." "Oh yes it was." "No it was AHHHHH!" Alfred laughs as he pulls Ivan into the tub. "Fredka!" "What? Did I do something wrong?" "I'm still wearing my clothes." "Well now they're clean." Alfred laughs and leans against Ivan's chest. "You also can just relax with me before the meeting." Ivan smiles and wraps his arms around Alfred and holds him close as Alfred closes his eyes. "See. This is so relax. Yawn. Ing." Ivan laughs as Alfred falls asleep. 'My beautiful little omega Alfred. I will keep you by my side no matter what.' Ivan kisses his head and leans back into the water. 'You will always be the person that I love and nothing will ever change that.'
