I don't exactly know who will read this letter, so I'll just leave it open for whoever does.
Um, hi, I'm Jackson Winston. Im Cedric's bunkmate. There's... something wrong with him. He hasn't been okay. He told me what's going on and I thought I'd let you know how he's doing. Yesterday, during our mission, he was distracted an the enemy slashed his face. Three lines on the right side. He's in recovery right now. I know it was the baby that was on his mind. He's also on suicide watch, which is scaring me. He's become a good friend.
They're sending him home, honorably discharged, when he has recovered enough. You'll be seeing him soon.
