Cedric,
I'm beyond relieved that you have made it there safely. It has been so long. I miss you holding me, I miss your warmth. It's so hard to be without you. I'm glad you have made a friend there, at least.
Jasper and Buttercup miss you terribly. They cuddle with me at night. Sometimes Jasper will paw at your pillow. Our neighbors know that you have been deployed, so I believe I won't be alone all of the time, but it doesn't make it any easier.
I love you too, Cedric. I really hope you can get the video chat privileges. It would make me so happy and your friends can see just how lucky you are.
Inside this letter, I have enclosed a couple pictures of Jasper, Buttercup, and myself. Please be careful when looking at them. One is not for an audience, if you understand what I'm hinting at.
Please stay safe.
With love,
Alessandra
