The moment Mark is back in bed after therapy he wants to cry in relief. The therapy itself has been getting more strenuous has time goes on, causing him to be in pain and exhausted. In fact he's almost asleep when the doctor comes in to tell him that he's getting released later in that evening, Mark is pretty sure he responds before slipping under. When he wakes up again Tyler is tidying the room, packing Mark's belongings, and general things.

"Finally decided to show up?" Mark asks startling the other male slightly.

"I've been here just about every day, but you've always been asleep whenever I get here." His friend walks over and helps him sit up. "Do you need help changing?"

"I got it covered." Mark can do it but it might take him a while. Tyler gives him a look silently asking if he was sure. After thirty minutes he's changed and ready to go but it's still a few hours before he's officially released. Orderlies offer to help get him to the car but Tyler says he can manage. Once they're settled in the car Mark asks.

"Is this the part where you kidnap me and have your filthy way with me?"

"If by filthy ways you mean murder, then yeah." Mark laughs because he's miss this being able to hang out with his friends and he really hasn't seen Tyler all that much despite what his friend claims.

"It only took you what 18 years. I'm surprised it takes most people three."

"I met you before my homicidal urges started, therefore it just took a while." They share a few more laughs before relaxing into a comfortable silence for about thirty minutes until they hit a red light and Tyler hears Mark's sharp intake of breath.

"Are you okay?" When the YouTuber doesn't respond Tyler takes a quick glance at his friend. His face is pale and he's sweaty. "Mark?" He raises his voice some when he still doesn't get a response he puts his arm out patting his leg before remembering that his friend can't feel his legs currently. The light turns green having the taller man cursing under his breath before trying one last time to get any kind of reaction. "Mark!" He yells his name and that seems to do the trick.

"Yeah?" He sounds out of it but at least he's talking.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, sorry it's just that's where it happened and it just startled me."

"Well remind me next time we go to town and we can go the other way."

"Are you my uber now?"

"Apparently." Thankfully they reach the house without any more accidents and Tyler unfolds the wheel chair helping Mark to the porch. Mark perks up when he hears Chica barking. When the door opens, pet and owner are reunited it's a nice sight. Chica looks confused about the chair at first but bounds straight for Mark putting her front paws on his thighs and licking his face.

"I know. I missed you too. Have you been a good girl? Of course you have. You're the best girl." Mark's voice takes on the pet/baby voice tone, scratching her behind her ears.

"Should I leave you two alone?" Tyler asks. And something he's quick to catch on to when they get inside, is that Chica is staying by Mark's side no matter where he goes. Though he mostly stays stationary and she'll lay by his chair and whenever he so much has moves she'll be up and ready to follow in a second.

"I think she cares about me more than you guys do." Mark states from the couch finally deciding that it's best for him settle down and get comfortable, Chica is laying partially on top of him and resting her head on his chest.

"She hasn't been able to see you every day for the past three months of course she's going to act like this." Kathryn says from her recliner. Amy and Ethan are at the store stocking up on some food and other necessary items.

"Just give it a week. And she'll avoid you again."

"What she's never avoided me, unless it was right after she's home from the vet. There was this one time where she had to stay there overnight and when I picked her up the next day I said hi to her and she turned her head the other way."

"If you left me in a strange place overnight I'd be pissed to." Ethan comments coming in.

"I think you would be able to leave, with you being human and all."

"I'm just saying." Tyler gets up to go help with the groceries and Ethan takes his seat. "Any video ideas?" He asks stretching.

"No, probably going go through and see if there's any series I left unfinished."

"Once we get everything up and running again, how about we have a family movie night type deal?" Ethan asks lightly avoiding eye contact.

"Why?"

"I mean we don't have to, it would just be a way of being near each other and-" He breaks off frustrated and Mark is used to Ethan getting this way sometimes but it seems more obvious than normal but Kathryn cuts in with,

"He was worried about you. We all where, and it's just a way of making sure we're all alright."

"I'd be down with that." Mark agrees and Ethan relaxes ever so slightly. He shoots Kathryn a look asking what's up. She shakes her head in response a silent it's his business he'll tell you when he's ready. Mark sighs giving in Kathryn can be stubborn when she wants to be and it would be a moot point to try to argue or push her once she's made up her mind. However he does make it his goal to find out what's bothering the youngest of their little family.
