"You said you were going to start giving me space." Mark doesn't even raise his voice but there's a tone to it that lets Ethan or anybody listening know he wants to.

"And you said you were going to ask for help when you needed it." Amy counters.

"And I will when I need it. But I'm getting to the point where if you don't let me do things on my own I'll never be able to do them."

"Is that how you think?" So much for not letting it get out of hand, Ethan thinks watching the two argue.

"Yeah, that's what I think and if you think,"

"Shut up!" Ethan is shocked at himself for yelling, but quickly shakes it off before the other two regain their composer. "Just shut up. We've been through this a hundred times already. Mark if you need help which you still do with certain things there's no shame in asking. Amy if you feel like he's being an idiot go ahead and call him out on it then, not a week down the line whenever everything has a chance to boil over. I don't know much about marriages, but it seems like you're trying to run it into the ground before it's even started. So come find me whenever you two learn how to behave like rational human beings." Ethan doesn't register that he's on the verge of hyperventilating all he knows is that he needs to get of here, that it's too much like when his parents were about to get divorced. He doesn't think he just makes a break for the door running upstairs and closing himself into the guest room with his back against the door, pulling his legs up and resting his head against his knees. He lets his eyes drift shut.

...

Mark and Amy stare at each other for a minute in complete silence, before she speaks.

"I think he's right."

"About?" A feeling of dread fills Mark's gut.

"Us, if we can't communicate now, what's it going to be like when we're actually married?"

"Amy," For once he's at a loss for words because what Ethan said makes since and Mark can remember his own parents fighting a lot before they divorced.

"How about we take a break, and give the other the space that we clearly need, and we'll decide in a month."

"A month?" He's just repeating what she's saying because for everything he's said he never once thought about breaking it off with her.

"I think it will better for our mental health."

"Where will you go?"

"I'll stay with Kat if she'll let me."

"Are we doing this?"

"Yes. I'm sorry Mark," He cuts her off finally finding something other than questions to say.

"Don't apologize yet, remember we have a month and if things don't work out than we can still be friends. Right?" His voice break a little on the last word.

"Of course."

"Do you need any help packing."

"No, you go talk to Ethan. I think his reaction was caused more than just arguing."

....

When Tyler enters the living room he notices Mark and Ethan laying on the couch, curled around each other and without anything being said supporting the other.

"What did I miss?" The two Youtubers share a look before Mark summarizes.

"Ethan apparently has Asperger's and repressed parent issues, and Amy and I may or may not be getting married." Ethan lifts his head up from Marks shoulder to comment.

"Oh, and Mark has a bigger heart than he lets most people believe."

"Last time I trust you with a secret."

"Is there anything about you that Tyler doesn't already know." It's the older two turns to share a look before Tyler shakes his head.

"Probably not." He sits on the edge of the couch by their feet, resting a hand on Ethan's ankle. "You guys are going to have to tell me about this stuff eventually. You know, that right?" He only got twin groans in reply.

....

"So it was your idea?" Kathryn asks once again from her spot on the recliner.

"Yes, and really it was Ethan who made me think about it."

"How is he doing?"

"Mark texted me an hour ago and said that he finally managed to convince him to talk, and that if Ethan wants me to know that he'll tell me himself."

"It's nothing bad, I promise you."

"Do you think it was a stupid idea?"

"Amy, you and Mark are in love with each other there's no doubt in my mind about that however given the circumstances of the past few months it doesn't surprise me that you guys have been tearing the other one down. A break will do you both good."

"What about you and Tyler?" Amy asks changing the subject and Kat chokes on her drink. "You guys aren't as smooth as you think."

"You walked in on us in the kitchen." Kat deadpans regaining her composer.

"I saw you guys in the kitchen."

"And you didn't tell Mark?"

"Not my place to tell."
