Mark has been home for roughly three weeks which is apparently enough time for tension to build. And he understands that Amy is just trying to help but he doesn't like depending on people so one morning when she asks if he needs anything he just snaps. "Amy please go out, or do something. I love you but give me some space. Amy stands a little straighter before leaving the room and Chica looks torn between who to follow so she lays in the door way.

Another week passes and the couple has hardly spoken to the other, and the rest are reasonably concerned.

" I don't know what we could do. " Ethan says. "It's not like we can force them to talk." Tyler and Kat perk up.

"But we can."

"People stage interventions for their friends all the time."

"Guys there's a line and we've crossed it a lot but they're going to be married so shouldn't they know when to talk it out." Tyler and Kathryn share a look and Ethan sighs. "You guys are going to do this no matter what I say."

"Are you going to help us?" Tyler asks and he knows that Ethan is going to help before he answers.

"Of course."

"Democracy at it's finest." Kathryn leans back and laughs.

"We didn't vote."

"Majority still won."

"Only because I care about them."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night."

They put their plan into action the next day. Tyler is standing by the door to block the exit. Ethan is leaning against the furthest wall. And Kathryn is the one acting has the mediator.

"You guys need to talk to each other if you want this thing to work." When the couple remains silent she adds on. "Mark you first."

"Amy, I'm sorry. I'm independent and don't like having to rely on other people for everything. I appreciate the help, but if this" he gestures at himself "is going to be permanent, then I won't want to become a burden." Amy is quiet for a minute before smiling softly at Mark.

"I know you're a stubborn, hard headed man. But Mark you do need help perhaps not as much as I was giving you but this is a new thing for all of us and you have to let me in or else you'll never get better. And you'll never be burden because I won't let you turn into some lazy arrogant slob who mopes around all day."

"So we're good."

"Yeah we're good."

Later that evening they were laid out across the in the living room and the movie was halfway over when Tyler notices that Mark wasn't in the room. He silently excuses himself and finds Mark out on the back porch. When he got his friend talking he wished that he could do more than listen.

After Tyler left the room Amy paused the movie.

"Is Ethan really asleep?"

"Seems to be."

"I think that if Mark isn't better, mentally I mean by the time of the wedding that we should post pone it."

"Are you doing this for him or you?"

"Both, I don't want what's supposed to be a happy day turn into an unpleasant memory."

"Then I don't see an issue with it but Amy, you do need to talk to him about it."

"I know."

The day after Tyler and Kat are discussing their friends.

"I swear I feel like we're their parents sometimes." Kathryn groaned, and Tyler rubs her back.

"That's kind of weird considering Mark and Amy but yeah I agree."

"And Ethan is the youngest we haven't caught doing anything yet."

"I just hope his ride is smoother than theirs."

"Me too, Kat." He wraps his arm around her shoulders letting her rest her head against him.

"And we need to talk about this." She gestures between them.

"I know, but let's focus on one thing at a time."
