CHAPTER 2

Amy P. O. V.
I have reached outside my room and saw there was pin - drop silence.
I thought that maybe the sound came from the Attic.
I reached my hand for the Attic hatch.
But my bad luck I was too short for it.
Till my eye went towards a door which I've never noticed before.

It had a dark feeling coming from it, this part of the house looked totally different to me, Dark and sorrowful.

I don't know why I used the word sorrowful for it maybe because it released a similar feeling i.e a sad feeling. So I decided and checked the door but it was locked. I decided to ask mum for the keys.

Jennifer: So did you guys sleep well?

Alex: .....

Amy: Mum one thing is bugging me. Is this house rickety or there is some kind of leakage?

Jennifer: Not at all dear but about the leakage yeah the garden pipe keeps dripping water.
I'll soon call the plumber to fix it up, as soon as I get time.

Amy: Alright you know what mum I noticed a room beside Alex's last night. For the meantime no one owns it, can I have the key of that room. Although I heard a "thud!" Came from it.

Jennifer: Alright let me check which room you are talking about? Come and show me.

Amy: W-whaaat!! I can't imagine this. Mum I really saw a door here, right at this spot.

Jennifer: Come on dear, you must be dreaming. There is no such room.

Amy: You think I'm lieing or just lost my mind at night.

Jennifer: Not at all dear but...

Amy: But what mum...
You don't believe me either isn't it?

Jennifer: What makes you think that? My dear I know how you feel....

Jennifer wasn't completed that Amy leaves the hallway.

Jennifer P. O. V.
Putting my sadness aside.
I decided to do something that would cheer the environment.

Jennifer: Hey Alex wanna catch up grocery with me?

Alex: Sounds Fun, I'll just tell Lisa about it.
Maybe she want to join us too.

That moment the name Lisa hits my mind.
The name had an unusual feeling.
But then I thought Lisa must be Alex's school friend but instead calling her on the phone. He just ran upstairs.

Alex: she doesn't want to join us.
Let's go mum.

Jennifer: Here we go, the last item we have bought.

Alex: Mum...

Jennifer: Yes Alex?

Alex: Are we gonna die?

Jennifer: What made you think that Alex?

Alex: I'm so sorry. I'm sorry mum...

Jennifer: Who told you that?

Alex: Lisa did...

Jennifer: I'm going to talk to the principle that kids are talking about such stuff at school.
Is Lisa your school friend Alex?

Alex: Noo!!

Jennifer: Then who is she? Are you talking to strangers Alex?

Alex: No! She's the girl, I met yesterday at our house. She lives with us and...

Jennifer: Son is that true?
OK let's go home.
You are making me worried about yourself Alex.

After few hours......
Jennifer: Jake I got bad feeling about this house.
The kids are acting unusual.
