SUDDEN DECISION

Rema's pov
The house is completely silent as the work monster is asleep . I went out for a jog and as soon I came back our work monster was awake and making coffee.

I sat down on the sofa and then i woke up to the shout of gayathri asking me to taste the coffee.
'Listen sorry for shouting at you yesterday actually I was a bit stressed out. ' I said.
'What has happened to my strong tomboy bodyguard?'
'Actually virat  and I have decided to get married soon within 10 days because after that he will be busy with his matches after a month.'
'So why are you so stressed? '
'Should I get married now. I mean am I ready now?'
'Both of you have decided know then go ahead with it. And what about the wedding .'
'The event management will take care of it.'
'Then get ready for the d day devil.'

Gayathri's pov
Next day in office at the lunch table-
'For how many days should I take off from office?'I asked rema as I was typing the leave letter to my boss.
'For?'
'Your d day.
'Its just a matter of one day.'
'But what about other premarriage functions.'
'Nothing of that sort we are keeping it very simple.
' Roger said he won't be coming as he is busy with his US open.'
Rema said as I could see the sadness on her face.

'But it's just a one day affair please beg  him to come.'
'You speak to him we tried our level best.'

I rang up Roger and he dint pick up so I sent him a message to call me whenever he was free. At night I checked for his reply but still he hadn't replied me . Again I tried calling him and finally he picked up my call after so many calls.
'Am I talking to Mr.super busy Roger Federer? '
'Am I speaking to the work monster who hasn't replied to me since days?'
'Hahaha.... so how are you?'
'It's so good to hear your laugh after so many days.'
'I heard that you can't make it for the wedding? May I know the reason?'
'Actually I am busy with the US open.'
'You are so busy that you can't come for the marriage.... thats so rude.'
'Try to u understand it's the open going on I won't be able to make it.'
'But please please please please '.I said pleading him.
'Please try to understand already this US open is very difficult for me and taking even a day off will be very difficult.'
'I don't want to speak to you.' And I cut the phone and switched off my phone.
