BREAKING NEWS

Rema's pov

It was the most embarrassing moment of my life more than the one when I had to wear a gown for our college farewell . But thank God the rest of the day went on fine . After the party we were home when I received a picture on WhatsApp sent by roger with a caption as real jokers . I showed it to Gayathri .

"That's a beautiful ring where did you get it from? She asked me as I was showing her the picture.
"Ah ah . Let it be take a look at this picture." My mind became completely blank I did not even knew a brand name to lie about.
" I think it's time to disclose." Virat said.
"Shutup not now." I cut him down.
"What secret have you guys got?" Roger asked.
"It's a surprise you will get to know tomorrow ." Rema said.
"I don't think it's our birthday tomorrow." I and roger said in unison.

We were going to our rooms when Virat called me.
"I think we should disclose it tomorrow. What do you say?" Virat asked me.
"But I like secrecy in my relations."
"Why are you marrying some don ?"
"What? Ok so what should we do?" I asked him.
"You decide Facebook , Twitter whichever you prefer?"
"Please don't put me in such a situation."
" Good night . Hope you will make a wise decision."

The whole night I was thinking and thought of taking help from Gayathri . It was four in the morning so I thought that I will ask her later but I had to kill time . So atlast it was five in the morning when I stepped into gayathri's room. I switched on the bed lamp and tried to wake her up.
"What is it rema ?" She asked me half asleep.
"Ah ah I ....." I could not speak up.

I closed my eyes and turned my face in the opposite direction.
"Gayathri listen actually day before Virat proposed me and I said yes." I explained her.
"Rema let me sleep ".
"Listen it's important we need to talk."
" Go and get married. Let me sleep." She said in a sleepy tone as was pushing me away.
" I wanted to ask you how should we break this news.,"
"Call a karate master he will break the bones of the news." She said turning her face to the opposite side.
"Can you please be serious?."
"Then go to the hospital."

I switched off the bed lights and headed towards Virat's room and woke him up and we decided to put it on Facebook on our accounts.

Gayathri's pov

The next day I woke up to the buzzing sound of my phone. The notification bar had maybe infinite number of notifications so I had to look through each and every notification. Every notification I read the more I turned red out of anger. I ran in search of rema and atlast found her sitting in the garden and enjoying her morning coffee.

"Can you explain?" She asked her handing me her phone.
"I can explain just calm down."
"It's such a important news and I get to know about it so late. Atleast you could have spoken about it to me. How irresponsible of you."
"Oh really last night I had discussed about it with you and do you even remember the answers you spoke out.
"You know my habits right. I can't leave behind my sleep even if it's a earthquake." I said trying to defend myself.
