There's monsters
In my room.
They come out at night
To give me a fright.
But no worries
I have a small light
Which protects me
And distracts me
From the monsters.
But the light makes it hard to sleep
But if I put the light away
The monsters come out for me.
It's alright though
I can always sleep during the day.
Even if it gets people mad
Even if it makes my life bad.
At least I'll have
My little light
To keep
The monsters
Away.
