Chapter 1: It begins

"Close your eyes." I smiled.
"Seán, I don't like surprises." Signe sighed.
"Please, I promise on your life that I won't tickle you." I said.
"urgh, fine." She agreed and closed her eyes.

I got out a ticket to Denmark so she could go and see her family. She has been mentioning it for 3 months.

"Okay open your eyes." I smiled.

She opened her beautiful eyes and looked at the ticket. Her eyes got watery. Signe couldn't believe it.

"Thank you Seán!" Signe smiled.
"No problem, you've been wanting to go for a long time now."
"This is so nice. Thank you!" She cheered.

She hugged me tight.

"You better go tell them the good news."
"I love you Seán."
"I know." I smirked and left back to my studio.

I noticed that the door was ajar. Did I not close it? I shook off the weird feeling and entered. I recorded some gameplays and a read your comments video. I took hate comments and mocked it a bit. My voice was getting raspy. Luckily I was done filming for the day and I could send them to Robin, he was awesome. I went on all my socials and answered some messages. I was looking at some art when my screen glitched. I looked at the drawing again and I thought something had changed.

"Okay, this is freaking weird. I really need some coffee." I sighed and stood up.

It really scared me that the picture changed. Today was a weird day. Signe was Skyping with her family. She was happier than ever before. I went by them to place a little kiss on her cheek and said 'hello' to her parents. They were lovely people.

"I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" Signe smiled.
"We'll pick you up in the airport." Her mother smiled.

I helped her pack. I saw a bit of doubt in her packing. I took her hands.

"What is it?" I asked.
"Seán, I don't know if this is a good idea, it's the holiday season."
"Don't be silly, wiish, you want this." I smiled.
"I know but you'll be here on your own."
"I'll be fine." I hushed.
"You sure?" she asked.
"I promise you. okay? I will call you when I'm not okay."
"Okay."
"I want you to enjoy this trip. Just get out for a while." I smiled.
"I will."
"That's my Wiish." I smiled.

I hugged her tight.

"What about a movie night tonight, I'll get some popcorn and get out the pile of blankets." I suggested.
"That sounds great."
"I love you Wiish." I smiled.
"I love you too Seán." 

I set up the whole 'date'. I saw a shadow from my eye. I turned around but no one was there. I felt eyes on me but there was no one there. Was this it? Was I finally going mad?

"Seán?" Signe asked.

Her voice pulled me back to reality. I turned around to face her. We debated a long time about which movie we were going to watch because we saw a lot of them already. I started laughing in the middle of her sentence.

"What?" She asked.
"We have been discussing what to do longer than some movies." I smiled.

Signe started laughing. I joined her and we entertained ourselves. She got under a lot of blankets. I loved her so much. I heard footsteps.
