Everything seemed to freeze as she stepped back.  She was expecting to see a horrified golden statute.  But instead there stood a normal man hunched over his hand over his chest.  He stood there for a moment then collapsed to the floor.  Strangers ran into the room and before she could do anything a sharp pain, like a needle, stuck in the back of her neck.  Then everything went black.

" You can't just dispose of her."  Ravin exclaimed painfully.  His chest was hurting a ton and he felt like he could be blaking out any moment.  Chief Bolfort shook his head in dismay.

" She struck you and now you agree dying and you still persist to trust her.  For some reason i don't think you understand how dangerous she is."

Ravin shot up in a sitting position.  " All this was not jet fault.  She is frightened, and she didn't bring the curse upon her self.  She doesn't know who do trust and what to do.  What she did was totally understandable!"  He exclaimed. He gasped and fell back.  His energy was drained.

" If you want make her happy and make her feel safe let her meet her maker."  Captain Bolfort replied softly.  Ravin closed his eyes.

" What if I told you that i have an idea of how to break the curse?"

" We don't want an idea Agent Seals.  We want positive facts."

" There is no way to know exactly what to do.  In the police force or in the army you can never know for positive.  I thought you would be used to that."

Captain Bolfort sighed.  " Fine but this is your last chance.  If it doesn't work she's leaving permanently. "

Maggy woke up with a major headache.  She groaned and went to roll over on to get side when she noticed something hard and chills about her wrists and ankles.

She bit her lip and tried to hold the tears back.  This was so unfair.  She did nothing and here she was punished with something she couldn't imagine possible.

Then she heard a door open.  She quickly looked at the wall.  "Maggy, are you alright?"  It was Ravin.  She refused to answer.  A tear rolled off her cheek and landed on to the golden surface.  She heard Ravin walk towards her.  " You know.  I lived in this town all of my life.  And I have always known about your house.  I didn't know the secrets behind the walls, but as a little kid I loved to play in the woods.

And one day... while I was wondering about I heard someone singing.  I followed that voice till I saw you.  You were about five or six. Short black hair and giant blue eyes.  You had the most beautiful voice I had ever heard.  I went up to you to say hi... but you took off.

From that moment on I was certain you were going to be my friend.  I know that sounds crazy.  But when people say that there is always a love at first sight.... well that was you.

That first day of school when you hit your head I realized it was you.  But you ran off before I could say anything.  Perhaps that is the reason why I put my self in danger around you.....I like you.  And I thought that if we get through this.... well...I would like to ask you out."

Maggy swallowed hard.  " How can I trust you?  I trust my father now look at this mess."

" How could you not trust a person who is willing to put your life above theirs?"

Maggy looked at him.  " There is no such thing."

Ravin smiled thinly and placed a hand on her shoulder.  " Wanna bet?"

Maggy looked at him in surprise.

" Your touching me."

He nodded.  "I got it all figured out. When your father is around the spell is stronger because he is the creator.  But when he isn't all of the power drains to your hands.  When you are scared it goes out of wack.  But when you are relaxed it doesn't do anything.  I figured that out when you were unconscious."

Maggy looked at him in wonder.  Then someone spoke up.  " Bravo, you have just won the golden medal."

Ravin gasped and whipped around.  Stilt was standing in the door way with a gun, and broken handcuffs hanging about his wrists.  His face had a twisted evil smile.  Before Ravin could do anything the pain in his chest suddenly flared leaving him curled in a ball gasping for breath. Stilt shook his head.  " You just possibly cannot stay out of trouble can you Maggy."  He said stepping towards the bed.

" Just leave me alone!"  Maggy yelled.

" Leave her alone Rumpestiltskin."

Stilt turned to see Ravin standing.  " What did you say?"

" Leave her alone Rumpelstiltskin."

Stilt's face turned free with anger.  He knew he was beat when the gold started to melt away.  He screamed and punched Ravin hard in the gut before he disappeared, leaving Ravin a golden statue.

By this time Maggy had managed to get her self free.  She found her self kneeling at his side tears running down hey face.  A tear fell upon the golden figure.  A hand touched her face.

She opened her eyes to find him lying there safe and sound. " Night mares again?"  He asked, she nodded.  He sighed.  " That's in the past.  And not to mention you got baby duty."

That's when she noticed the faint cry if a baby across the hall.  She smacked him and rolled out of bed.
