Four times have I seen your face across the way
And three times have I wondered "Who is she?"
And every time I was struck by your loveliness;
Astounded by your smile
And by all that I am, your eyes
Your eyes took hold of me and never let go
Your eyes were pools of water beckoning me
Calling me, but I never dared say hello.
What I'd give for those eyes to fall on me- to look into mine
To glance my way and shine brighter than your smile.
Oh I'd still give all that I have away so that I could see you smile.
All but one thing, precious and dear;
Strong and fragile all the same.
I hold it close and hope I can use it all my life
Love, it is your name.
Four times I've seen you.
Three times I wondered who you were.
You walked up and said "Hi, my name is..."
And now I know
You're my love, I'm sure.
